Why do I have unlimited amounts of parachutes?

Everytime I jump with the parachute, after I have laned and go back to the weapon inventory: I always see another parachute.... Is it suppose to be like this? You get one, and can never get rid of it? Or is it a glitch?

I think you only get it again if you go back into an aircraft.

 

You shouldn't have one right after you land. Odd. Sounds really useful though.

Have you completed flight school ? I'm not certain but I think you get unlimited parachutes when you complete it

That's just how it is. Once you have a parachute it's always there. You simply buy differing colours from Ammunation and equip the one you want.

Recently..... I killed my chute while I was in the air(By accident) and was able to launch another one

Just Cause 2 had this feature, it's pretty cool if you ask me.
