Tick's Meet is always filled with laughs and fun and this meet was no exception either. Gotta say that i liked the new Relay Drag Race we had. Congrats to my team mates Mr. De, Ronster and myself Pictures everybody!!!

 

It was raining as we rolled into the Rehab Centre:

 

 

Our first stop was at this small yet beau waterfall

 

We all parked while each went for a solo photo with their rides, courtesy the Host.

 

 

Had to cut Ticks car as there was blood on the car's left side... Now only if it were the color of blood..

That's the saddest picture I've ever seen looool. Thanks for the awesome shots and comments, guys! I really appreciate this - I was grinning the whole time I was looking at them. Right, I've been awake for close to 30 hours if my calculations are correct. In my post I said I was nervous, had this knot in my stomach and I didn't want to eat anything yet I felt like throwing up (yes, gross). But now I'm just so happy it's done and glad everyone had a good time. It might of sucked for those that had to leave early or had connection issues and I know the mic situation at the start of the meet was hectic (a lot of players talking all at once) but the mid-to-end parts of the meet really made it worth it. Again; thanks!

 

Please keep an eye out for De's and steve's meets taking place soon, you'll most likely find me there if you guys wanna hang out again.

Feedback. I love these meets, time flys you never feel like you are waiting around, even when you technically are. The places tick takes us inspire random hilarious acts from players and and it's theses acts that make the shows stand out from others, this meet went smoove no player issues, even when ronster stabbed me and through me out of my own boat ,... It was funny and seemed appropriate. The crowd was great, the cars even better and we all managed to survive some crazy driving by AI traffic

I left and cruised back to Vinewood singing white snake at the top of my lungs

 

The only thing missing was meatloaf

Thanks for the feedback, guys! I do try to be better and better at doing meets so criticism is welcomed (although I know what I do wrong after the meet). I definitely got myself a very amazing group of usuals that can guarantee a fun meet and a good time and as host you have no idea how big of a relief this is to have players you trust in a meet.

Really enjoyed this meet, was thought out well with the theme and towards the end couldn't stop laughing uncontrollable, so funny.

Only real criticism wish more people was there to the end cause you would of had the giggles like me.

The pictures look awesome too gd job guys and the muscle cars looked so gd definitely got to get me a phoenix.

As said by CjLosSantos - this is only for the Xbox 360. I would love to see you attend PS3 meets as you sound like a really nice dude.

I do get these a bit so I've added a platform "mini-section" to the Car Information section.

 

Anyone reading this; you guys seen De's and Steve's own damn websites?! Pretty cool! I thought about it (having my own) because it looks awesome and a great place to pair up all your pictures together but I think my thread is detailed enough (with links to posts themselves to find each meets feedback and pictures easily) that I don't need one. Congrats to De and Steve for having their own page on the net, though. They both look fantastic and people can now bookmark those websites to see when the next meet is.

Well I've been doing car meets and threads about car meets for at least 4 years (started with Forza 3) so I know a bit on what to talk about and what makes a great read. Something to entice people to look at it. I wish the GTA:O car meet community would make their threads more worth reading, you know? Explanations on who they are, rules, why they started meets, what they're looking for, etc. I just have a different standard as I saw what the Forza community can do and learned from them. The long read might scare some people away but those that do take the time to read will have a better understanding on what to expect.

This thread has been dead for a long time (a week is a lot!) and it's time to revive it. First post has been updated! Please state you have a mic and read the theme. Please understand that I may refuse some of the usual guys so that I can get some new guys in - all depending on the time they sign up for the event and how much that person has attended my meets, of course. It may sound unfair but I hope people understand that I'm doing this so others get a chance to experience a meet. If successful, this theme may be done again with those left out joining in. Those refused will be put on the Extras list, though. Thanks!

I consider myself a great Forza host - GTA meets are much different. Players are different, there's traffic and cops, weapons, etc. While I know what makes a good meet, I feel like I host bad ones sometimes. I'm harsh on myself and give my own feedback, knowing exactly how I f*cked up. I try to be better but when hosting you just know how you screw up, "well, can't take pics when leading - f*ck it". It's really hard to be a good host and have good stuff about the meet on the forum so you really gotta pick which one you want; a good meet or a good presentation. I usually settle for the 2nd which sucks for the people at the meet. So far everyone has enjoyed themselves (only 1 player leaving for waiting around for too long) so it's so far so good as of now.

You're a great host De and consider you and Steve the main meets that I attend. I join random ones here and there but I always check both your threads (and website). Good work so far, dude! We've got a nice trilogy going on here that other big threads should look out for. They're big threads but not as dedicated as we are - putting way more time than them and we're all one host while they've got a few. If I was a new GTA player I would definitely prefer finding our threads as I would have a much better chance at taking part of it and having a much better time - not worrying about who's a usual so I don't mess with them, etc...

I agree with Steve that you have one of the best threads! It's basically it's own site! As I am new to hosting meets I've still got a lot to learn! I learn a lot by attending other meets, Good and bad. Ik im not nearly as talkative as most people but i feel I'm getting better! Anyway thanks for the promoting! And ill join the meet if available but feel free to give my spot to a newbie!! See ya soon Tick!!

 

Response for Tick: I have never played Forza and didn't even kno you could play in online lobbys lol but I think you are an amazing GTA host! I've never seen anything wrong with your meets and always have a great time! You put so much thought and effort into your meets! To be honest I strive to be as good as you!

 

Maybe one day all three of us could combine our thoughts and ideas into one big special meet? Just an idea! But I to think we have some pretty damnm good meets and everone seems to enjoy them! Were the power houses of the car meet threads!! Haha

The theme can be a bit muddy but there's freedom on your part seeing how vague it is. I tried to make it as precise as I can but in the end it was better to see what you guys would bring.

 

Added freak and jwood - gutted Klown (cj) can't make it. GTA_5_DEV (nice name...) not added due to not reading first post.

Wow, such a detailed post but no mic! I'm really torn as I don't usually let non-mic players in. I'll add you on the Extras list, though! Extras get an invite 5-10 minutes after the meeting time if those that signed up don't show up (if there's a spot). I would love to have you on the actual list if you got a mic, though! Please keep looking here for the next meet so you can get yourself a spot once you have a mic.
