Who cares? you'll just be placed back in another invite only session. Besides, it still takes up server space when you're idle.

The worst one is having a sh*t. I don't mind being kicked for having lunch, or doing something thats probably worth switching to single player while I wait.

But if I can't do something as simple as taking a sh*t without being kicked then something is wrong.

Turkey Shenanigans

To avoid getting kicked for being idle in an invite only session just bring the controller with you and every few minutes move the analog stick.

And to avoid getting kicked in public lobbies, go on a roof, enter passive then bring the controller with you and every few minutes move the analog stick.

There. Problem Solved.

If you use this, there's a script to prevent you from going idle in GTA. I use this, plus another script to rapid press the run button when running full speed.

Why would you start a session only to leave your console for 15+ minutes?

dude,it's not your job criticising people's choices. He starts an "invite only" session to play solo or with friends and get ridiculously kicked for being idle from where only people invited by him can join. This is stupid. If it's my own server,I can leave the console for even 1 hour.Because there is no chance to block other people's online gameplay

You do realize servers are owned and managed by Rockstar, and by idiling you waste server space?

I'm more curious what you're doing for 15+ minutes in the bathroom. Are you living in there or something?

some people got those real bad sh*ts.

Everybody would leave their console on and using bandwidth if one didn't idle out. Even if they aren't moving they are sucking data that costs money.

13 minutes is actually a good deal TBH. I've technically idled for hours by remembering to bump the controller and reset it.

I would try to add more fruit to your diet.

We are gamers. Too complicated.

Down a fiber bar each morning. One won't idle-out for poo-related reasons again.

Yea, I agree 100% with you. I understand it for public lobbies but why should I kicked out of a session with friends or even when I'm going solo. It would be nice if they ever decide to patch this.

It's kind of like this. Imagine for a moment that each server is a crayon, and each player is a preschooler. Now, there are only so many crayons for the kids. The kids that take a crayon and actually color with it are fine. However, there's that one kid who takes a crayon just to take it. He doesn't color with it, he just holds it and keeps all of the other kids from using it. So, the teacher steps in and takes it away from him and gives it to another kid who's been waiting. Make sense?

Bottom line, every time you log in, you're taking up server space. If your not using it, just holding it until you're ready, Rockstar's going to step in and give that space to someone else who's trying to get online.

This sums it up.

We were given this game for free. We aren't paying for the space our invite-only sessions take up on a server. Rockstar is paying for that. Someone else who is playing should take that space. When the idle person comes back he can go right back to his invite-only session and invite others. (For free)

I just put my controller upside down and prop it so the camera stick keeps moving if I am AFK

You put strain on the video card in your system when you do that. The cam keeps rotating and your video card is the thing that makes that possible.
