It's still a separate country. You evidently don't like in a UK country, so how about leave the border semantics to those of us who do, eh?

I don't live neither in the US or the UK, however that does not mean that I dont have a well based opinion.

I just find it funny that some people knows so little history, both their own and about other western countries, that they don't know the history and why the US exists today.

(Btw, if it adds to my credibility, I partially grew up in Indiana and therefore I used that state as an example.)

All I'm saying is that if Scotland is to be considered a country then Indiana and the other states in the US should be too. Or the different states in Germany for that matter, they also were their own separate countries but are now part of a union called Bundesrepublik Deutchland (translated to United Republic Of Germany I guess).

It's not the same thing. The Scottish Saltire makes up a third of the Union Jack, whereas Indiana is a Star or a Stripe somewhere.

Anyway, if you'd like to elaborate a little more, then feel free, but Scotland's been a part of the Union since 1707. I fail to see the relevance of that, but it's very late, perhaps you can enlighten me.

lol it took me 5 seconds of googling this Wiki to find out Scotland is a country. Don't waste your time on him Ninja.

Hahaha, you dont think I read up on Wikipedia before posting? *facepalm*

I did. However, you cant just look at the word, you have to look at what the real differences are. There is no real difference between the "country" Scotland and the "state" Indiana! Its just words! The factors to consider is financial and judicial independence etc. And Scotland and Indiana (and other US states) have about same independency in these factors.

Anyways....

If I don't get my country's flag I'm pulling the racist card.

Who's with me?

I want the flag of Syria with a text in arabic saying "I support glorious President Assad".

Wikipedia goes far to into detail :/

Here's the lowdown. It's a lone country, so is wales, but they are both (alongside Northern Ireland) a part of the British "empire". They share our money, laws, benefits and more (but Scottish law degrees can't be used in England due to different law history).

However Scotland is currently hoping to gain independence from England. Dunno why, but the point still stands. Despite being a representative of the UK, its still classified as it's own country.

As I said, there is no authority or established definition that differs a state from a country. And there is a quite large movement in Texas that wants independency (once again). And for instance, Texas bar exams for lawyers, are not valid in any other state than Texas. Another similarity. :)

Actually, I support Assad. Mainly because the alternatives is so much worse (which would be Al-Qaeda or even worse, The IS). I base my opinons from having a few Syrian friends who rather have a corrupt dictator that is quite secularized than having muslim fanatics, who thinks stoning of women and beheading of christians etc are good ideas, running the country. But now we are really off topic.

Damn, hope they add Austrian flags. If they add them and then call it something else because one f*cking country has the same flag,I'm gonna go nuts! :/

Well if it's not, you can always use the Canuck flag. We'll share ;) It's essentially the same. Just turn the red and white borders from horizontal to vertical and then add a Maple Leaf in there. Austria has Maple tree's right???

There's no need to be upset.

Maple trees? Not in the flag but we do have them here :p

I'm just pissed because most games include the same flag but they give it the name of a country that no one's ever heard of.

Looks like there are some decent-looking new generic striped/colour designs - plus different colours of plain (i.e. non-flag) pack to match.

Hope they're 'mix-and-match' - would be nice to use, say, the existing Patriot chute, with one of the new flag packs. Or vice-versa - use a plain-coloured pack, and then unveil some national pride when you pull the rip-cord.

And for gawd's sake, keep the 'set' smoke colour fixed! It's a pain to set the default as 'Patriot' or 'Red' or whatever, only to have it go back to 'Blue' or another colour every damn time you get into an aircraft...

Wouldn't mind the South Korean 'Taegukgi' for character #2, along with the already-confirmed Union Flag one for my main:

320px-Flag_of_South_Korea.svg.png

(char. #2 is Korean-American, so could easily use the Stars-and-Stripes one if the above ain't added, but the choice would be cool...)

I live in Yugoslavia and even though my country no longer exists I demand equal treatment! In addition to having a parachute Rockstar must add the Yugo.

I want a Mexican flag.

They would have too.

They got the Mexican flag around LS alongside other country flags. If it is left out after all this time of waiting for new update based on military…like this games become Call Of Duty, f*ckin' Miliarty clothes and purchases is enough already. Where the f*ck is LS day/nightlife? Might as well did a Zombie invasion it's just as pointless... Anyway, the Mex flag will be included amigo.
