On the other hand....The Houser brothers are from Britain and hence they probably wanted to incorporate at least all flags of the EU-countries and therefore Malta should be included. Plus Britain and Malta has a weird love affair that has gone on for ages.

 

Most likely my native country, Swedistan, sorry, I meant Sweden, will be included. Probably just a matter of time before that yellow cross is changed to a half moon and a star.... This showing the reason.

As of Scotland being its own country, the argument is laughable. Scotland has not, just like Indiana, had full independency for ages. They both are about as equally independent from the federal government/crown which is not a lot. And Indiana has, like Scotland, its own flag and Indiana became a part of the federal government (The United States) a lot later than Scotland entered the British union.

Rockstar are very politically correct when it comes to certain things, race/religion/nationality are things they dont want to upset the media about. You can be sure that if Rockstar put in all European countries, they would put in the whole world.

Not sure of course, but I could imagine that the countries with a certain amount of GTAO players get a flag parachute. Don't ask me about statistics, I don't have any. But I guess R* knows how many players of each country GTAO has.

 

Edit: Nvm, can't be true when Jamaican flag parachute is available.

I don't live neither in the US or the UK, however that does not mean that I dont have a well based opinion.

 

I just find it funny that some people knows so little history, both their own and about other western countries, that they don't know the history and why the US exists today.

 

(Btw, if it adds to my credibility, I partially grew up in Indiana and therefore I used that state as an example.)

 

All I'm saying is that if Scotland is to be considered a country then Indiana and the other states in the US should be too. Or the different states in Germany for that matter, they also were their own separate countries but are now part of a union called Bundesrepublik Deutchland (translated to United Republic Of Germany I guess). Not that I think Rockstar would care...

Well if it's not, you can always use the Canuck flag. We'll share It's essentially the same. Just turn the red and white borders from horizontal to vertical and then add a Maple Leaf in there. Austria has Maple tree's right???

It's not the same thing. The Scottish Saltire makes up a third of the Union Jack, whereas Indiana is a Star or a Stripe somewhere.

 

Anyway, if you'd like to elaborate a little more, then feel free, but Scotland's been a part of the Union since 1707. I fail to see the relevance of that, but it's very late, perhaps you can enlighten me.
