On a different topic:

 

Does anyone else kind of wish new vehicles were added to traffic rather than garages (in SP)? Or at least have them stay customized since they stay in the garage anyway. It would feel more rewarding finding something like the Warrener in traffic and stealing it for my garage than I do going to my garage all the time for stock vehicles.

They said that the Independence Day Update was for Online. And it came out for story mode too.

 

Story mode just got the vehicles and weapons though. Online got new properties, jobs and clothes in addition to the vehicles and weapons.

 

Back in February, Rockstar said there would be flight school missions for story mode. I'll be disappointed if story mode just gets the planes without the missions. We'll find out soon.

I'm questioning whether or not that Jet will fit in Trevor's hanger to be usable. You can't even buy the Shamal or Luxor for Trevor be they are supposedly too big.

Darw Distance was perfectly fine on the PS3/360, infact, people complain about it being too high because you can see Los Santos from Mount Chilliad.

The detail distance is the real problem for me. It got progressively worse the more I played. Even while on the ground and not driving all that fast, buildings in the distance would appear really damn blocky. It only got worse and worse.

 

Also, the draw distance is great in most areas. Less so in some others, though. Entirely dependent on the weather, I guess?

 

Weather can control the view distance fog.

Just watch people grind Rooftop Rumble just to be able to afford the new vehicles. Or You could do both a favor to you and rockstar by buying the cash cards. Thats all these updates do, bringing more and more items for you to purchase with in game money *cough* cash cards *cough* None of these updates have brought anything substantial or game changing. GTA online sorta feels like a "freemium" game with a pay to win model. Unfortunately many game companies are taking this route as tons of people believe that programs like candy crush are actual real games! I hate buying games with in app purchases or micro-transactions or Disc locked content, They are against my principles, fundamentally flawed, and are undermining gaming as we used to know it. I cant believe R* is slowly going in this direction.

The Hydra probably IS included, but not showcased, like how the High Life DLC showed only the zentorno and massacro. Just gotta wait. I am gonna love this update regardless though, since I love to fly.

I would be happy if they included the Hunter and the Skimmer. It would also be great to see SP getting some flight school challenges and new clothing (as well as the vehicles).

Honestly I don't mind it if we don't get the Hydra. I mean, it's not we don't already have a powerful military level plane in the game that fires minigun explosive rounds and has lock on rockets. VTOL would be nice though.

Meanwhile in singleplayer Rockstar just plops the vehicles into your garages, helipads, and hangers for free.

 

That's why I usually prefer single player, lol.

i was stuck on this mission for years

 

 

 

 

 

i had all the islands unlocked so i said screw it...came back years later and a walkthrough on youtube helped me beat it

 

didn't think about flying on the coastline at the time and kept trying to go straight to the marker so thats why i kept failing

Yeah. It was a pain during my first play-through. But know, i can beat all of the flight school missions with ease!
