5.7 Posted August 19, 2014 Share Posted August 19, 2014 Yeah a few lately been jet swarming it must been the pilot school update hype. Everyone just goes in passive mode or they go get a jet themselves to either join in or kill the current player in jet wrecking the session. Tanks are alright, can blow them up (if got access to sticky bombs, grenades or rocket launcher) or just drive far away from them/hide. Just leave session if they continue driving out towards the army base when they die (in cheat mode don't die but crash somehow) because they waste of your ammo & time. I never seen anyone take a jet down unless in a jet or buzzard heli, but I'm not saying they talking sh*t. I got sniped in a Titan so it's possible but a Titan and jet are not even in the same level.. Advice: Passive mode in current session. Leave to new session. They desperately need a lock on launcher in this game, especially since there's the possibility of a Flight School DLC dropping tomorrow. I'm sorry but what credible source have you received this info from? The credible source would be the fact the Rockstar released it yesterday. U mad bro? Best time was a few weeks ago, took out the pilot as he was slowing down for a strafe. Jet skidded down to a stop in a field. G4M6L3 Posted November 19, 2014 Share Posted November 19, 2014 (edited) If I'm in the city and the jet(s) is on me, I find the nearest cover spot. A lot of these 'Jet Elites' like to show off flying under to take you out of cover. If the pilot doesn't attempt this, use heavy sniper to get him smoking or an RPG for the kill like said above. For those that fly under, throw C4 on upper/lower end of your cover spot. Make sure to spread them out a bit so you have a larger window to get the kill, timing is key. Most of the time I just go for a jet myself to take one out, then hop back out as soon as he's down. I've grown to liking a few dogfights here and there since I started flying not too long ago. Back when I used to play lock-on lobbies around last Christmas, I was on a roof while a jet made a swoop down to hit me. His lineup was off, and I killed him locking onto him with an AR lol. I will admit I know how to handle myself in one, but I don't use jets that much so I probably don't have the skills some of these guys do in a jet.
