Are Missions worth the time?

Nearly all the missions I have played lately have ended in just utter failure, be it human error or some sort of glitch in the system. Most notably Coveted. It has taken me more than 30 minutes on average to complete these missions, even with other players, in which I might little over 10 grand if I'm lucky.

Anyway what I mean to say is that the pace of the contact missions is painfully slow and has little reward granted the amount of time it takes. Death matches and races are much more enjoyable and at least your getting more than 200 dollars if you f$!#K up.

I used to like contact missions a lot but I'm just too aggravated after the last few days. And it's not just missions, this whole game is plagued with unknown network errors, connectivity issues, load loops and just general freezing and crashing. Always at the most convenient times too. Like right after I get a full lobby on a race I like, it freezes... right after I push the launch button. But no, instead of just freezing it continues to load, the game didn't crash it just faked loading so I would sit there waiting like an idiot thinking about how fun this is going to be.

Ugh... thus has been like every night and I'm just so sick of it. I feel like I'm posting this just to complain and I guess I kind of am.

Anyone else out there having this prob?

Grumpy-Goat-

You are talking about several different issues here... responding to the first one... The contact missions. If it takes you 30 minutes to complete Coveted, let alone any other missions, it's you. I'd like to avoid sounding like a dbag by not saying "get good" but it seems like it may just fit in this case. At least pertaining to your mission play.

As far as your connection issues... that could be R*, it could be your own internet connection so I can't really say. Go wired if you are wireless, it may help.

Of course they are not worth it, but they won't change payouts because SHARK CARDS!

Yeah I got that part, and dude if you were there you'd be face palming hard core. Really the problem comes form missions failing at random or some bs like a trailer getting stuck on a waits high wall or the helicopter in coveted exploding as soon as it touches down.

Again I have been having a damp rough time lately... game just crashed again just before I posted this. And of course some of it is me, yeah but when these damn AI dudes pop in on your flank on an open plain that was clear about ten seconds ago then I start to call bullsh*t... ugh, Honestly I think I need a break. I have been trying to grind and get enough money for a jester and I think I've been going at it for 3 days now and I still can't keep the game going long enough to get more than 20 grand per hour

The mission/job "Talkin Trash" is actually incredibly easy to complete very quickly solo on hard difficulty.

You need the Buzzard, & unfortunately the mission unlocks at level 81. So it's only good for cash building really.

But you can finish it in 5-7 minutes & get a $15,000-20,000 payout everytime, & a good amount of RP.

What level are you?

Some missions are longer than other missions with some long missions also low paying. To me any mission paying less than $15k is a waste of my time . All except potshots and crystal clear out 3 and clear out 3 because i have a buzzard.

I do replay some low pay missions that i find fun.

Reaching higher levels opens some higher paying missions that can be done in 15 minutes or less. Having a buzzard helps but just learning and practice is the key. Coveted can take 30 minutes but can be done in much less time. Rooftop rumble solo in less than 10 minutes is possible. Chopper tail can be done twice in 30 minutes without a buzzard. Potshots = easy quick $10,500.

Los Santos connection is long but does pay $23,500 solo if picking up all the drug packs, and is fun to replay.

Low stress easy money can be obtained parachuting.

^^You've just described every videogame mission ever.

"Go somewhere, do some things, get something, go somewhere else. Mission complete"

But you did express your feelings about missions, you don't like them, so kudos on that.

Every detail about the mission was correct from that other person's post and you couldn't wrap your mind around the mission title. Not looking too smart over there, just belligerent

I find Trash Talk far easier & quicker than Rooftop Rumble.

You don't have to retrieve anything, just blow up the targets & you're done.

Trash talk and chopper tail both with a buzzard attack chopper only cost 200$ for the chopper and can both be done in around 5 minutes and pay 15 grand. Easy peasy.
