Lung capacity & Strength

How exactly would i go about getting these two stats up?

 

I've been doing the diving underwater until the last second, but that sh*t takes forever.

 

I've also ran around punching NPCs & playing the melee only deathmatches, but it only slowly goes up.

 

Are the any better, more efficient ways of doing this? Or am i just sh*t out of luck

Well I personally got my lung capacity maxed when the "switch to a story character then back out" god mode glitch was going on. I stayed underwater and swam around for a while exploring until it was full. The only way you could do that now is if you used the godmode glitch, but i'm pretty sure you don't wanna do that.

 

Here's a useful thread I just found.

 

I think for strength, I just kept punching and kicking my friends PV a lot. Does that work anymore?

 

BONUS:

 

for stealth, I just did a crap-ton of stealth kills around the city. I got 100% quickly for both characters.

Punching vehicles and having someone sitting in the vehicle was patched a while ago. For strength, try playing hole 6 in Golf over and over, however I'm not sure If that method was also patched, unless someone else can confirm.

I dont think that trick works anymore :/

 

Punching vehicles and having someone sitting in the vehicle was patched a while ago. For strength, try playing hole 6 in Golf over and over, however I'm not sure If that method was also patched, unless someone else can confirm.

neither does this as far as I know

 

 

try getting a friend to go into a store changing room and hit them repeatedly while they are changing clothes, pretty sure this works

as for lung capacity I swam laps around Vespucci canals for about 30 minutes and it went from 20 to 100 percent

strength: golf hole #6 1 hole rinse ans repeat / punch npc / melee DM

 

lung: exactly what youre doing.. dive > surface rinse and repeat! (i left this alone.. dnt think we ever need to be underwater for that long)

 

stealth: walk in stealth mode and rubber band both analog stick to face each other so it looks like > < (this will make your character walk in cirlce while in stealth mode) *watch a movie! it will be full when your back*

 

driving: do the motorcyle race at the airport! just keep doing wheelies until its full or just drive around town near missing npc cars

 

flying: i let this go up by itself.. i remember grindg COVETED! lol or you can do an airplane race but just land > fly up rinse and repeat (make sure the wheels fully retracts everytimr)

 

shooting: survival! or have a friend get in the dressing room (while in the menu) and shoot his head

Dude golf thing is slow as hell bookmark a couple of fight club jobs and it should get up fast if you're playing with 9 or 10 players.

The stealth trick of going around in circles won't help. You need to sneak kill NPCs, preferably with a knife. Do it near the beach so you can quickly evade cops, and you can also increase lung capacity from doing it :)

Since when? It has been a while since I leveled stealth but I walked in stealth from the merryweather dock to somewhere in the desert and was at full stealth. It is ( or was) based on distance traveled in stealth and knife take downs didnt seem to do anything...For me.

yea they smowed it down! takes 3x as long to fill up a bar. from 15mins to 45mins! but still faster than hitting random npc

says who? you? stop giving out false information! i wouldnt have posted it if t didnt work. i have full stealth right now after walkin in circles (while stealth) in my garage.

Lung capacity - takes about 30-35mins underwater to get it to 100% - no way to make it faster - I used the water hazard at the golf course mostly. Booooring, but at least now I can use my Lung Capacity to... stay underwater for slightly longer.

 

Strength - Melee Deathmatch, NPC-bashing, Golf, Arm Wrestling, Tennis. Golf is the easiest way, but the longest. Play solo for speed, custom game holes 6-9 - you have to finish the game for the stat to increase - doing one hole over and over takes longer due to loading times.

 

These are also the first two stats to start deteriorating after a lengthy period offline, followed by flying (personally, i hate this feature - such a blatant tactic by R* to keep us hooked - I don't like it when devs try to make you play when they want you to instead of when you want you to).

 

Edit: people are mentioning Stealth as well. This won't increase unless you're actually hiding from someone. My method is to start High Priority Case solo. Get up and kill all the bad guys except for the guys on the lower level. Go to the floor above them, rubber-band your thumbsticks and walk around in circles - the baddies will never come up and the mission will just wait for you to keep going. Takes about 10 mins of this to get you Stealth to 100%

I got my lung capacity stats to 100% playing the mission Coveted.

 

After helping secure the Cargobob, I'd stay behind and while teammates delivered the container, I was jumping in the water and diving until the mission was passed. That way I made good money and increased my lung capacity. Plus it's cool diving in that area.

By the way it would be cool if R* put corpses in the water so you could come across them while diving in certain areas...that would make diving a lot creepier than it can already be.

Stealth, buy silencer for a sniper ,climb building snipe pedestrians done.

 

Driving, grab motorcycle go too vespucibeach shoot out the back tire do wheelies in the sand.

 

Strength first fights, arm wrestling make sure your not wielding a bat etc, they will actually slow progression down.

 

Lung capacity when diving wait untill your health bar decreases surface and repeat.

 

Stamina; running, swimming, mash that x button.

For lung capacity i used a method i saw on youtube, and it's abit less boring then just swimming under water. Go the the docks where you deliver Simeons HPV, there should be a ladder at the waters edge. Stand near it, and dive into the water, get straight back on the ladder, climb up and keep repeating. Can't say if this is more efficiant than other methods but i got from 20% to 100% in about 15mins

For lung cap I earned money while I did it , there is a store right above the canal near the beach (mask shop) Rob that jump straight in canal which goes underground swim under water till wanted level goes and back again , can repeat after shop re opens

 

Can also earn doing strength , melee deathmatches good fun earn cash and rp at same time , everyone's a winner

There is no other way of getting the lung capacity stat up alas..

 

but... it's damn useful if you've got it maxxed out..

 

 

Go out to the sea in a yacht and start swimming...

Nah, I got my stealth up overnight while I slept. I left my guy in his apartment and with the use of an elastic band kept him going in circles all night. This was only a couple of weeks ago.

I got my stealth up on my second character by going to the impound lot and standing on the building doing the afk RP method. It was actually an accident, I didn't mean to put myself into stealth mode but hey, now its maxed out.

For strength i just kept replaying hole 6 at golf

For lung capacity i heard you can get it to raise faster if you perform those dive animations of a pier. Havent tried that i just kept swimming underwater but i heard it worked

Got most of my stats maxed in 2-3 hours or so, did them for my 2nd character recently. Just wanted everything full and took the time to get it done.

 

Stealth: go to the airport click L3, rubberband left stick and walk 2-3 times across the airfield (do something else in the meantime, doesn't take that long)

 

Lung capacity: swim across the lake under water (from east to west or vica versa not from N to S) at trevors twice just surface every time for oxygen. (lol @ jumping from the dock)

 

Strength: go to the boardwalk at the beach during the day (more people), hit people up, just keep spamming circle/B because you are so close to so many people it will automatically pick someone, let yourself die when you have to much cops. You can also doe it at the pier.

 

Driving/flying fills automatically up when playing, driving was full the 3rd day i was playing and flying after +-3 weeks. Wasn't really bothered with it as those fill up while playing normally and they don't give you big advantages.

 

Stamina: just take a bmx out and have some fun ;) (do the lungs and strenght 1st ;))

 

Shooting: go into a wallbreach and kill tons of cops.

 

Worked for me every time with the stealth thing at the airport did it for my 2 characters and 2 for somebody else. You don't need a knife or you don't have to hide, sneek up on people lol.

Tennis or golf for Strength. If you don't like either of these game modes though, then you don't really need your strength stat.

 

I've always felt like lung capacity fills quite fast. Just go exploring. Helicopter to parts of the map you've not spent a lot of time in, sky-dive into some water, go for a swim and see what you can find. :)

Yes it does. I let my character walk around in stealth mode whilst I got some food and it maxed out after 20-30 mins.

There are tons of peds around. Get some balls and fight them one by one. When Wanted Level pops up, ride your bike, and hide.

lung capacity

 

put a rubberband on the right/left analog stick so u keep going back down in the water, it takes about 30-45mins to max out. You can just leave the game and do something else to kill time.

 

strength

play the 6 hole in golf over and over takes less than 30mins to max out

I don't glitch so I had to max out the old fashioned way, for strength just go to the beach and beat the sh*t out of everyone, you'll get wanted by the cops and it's a pain in the ass but after about an hour I got it maxed.

 

For lung capacity I just swam for a good hour + and got it maxed, boring ass hell but it makes a big difference when it's maxed out. You can swim to the bottom newrly

anywhere once it's maxed out.

After the "invisible" patch, it now takes approximately twenty-one "Hole Sixes" to fill one bar of the Strength attribute. So, it just may take a bit longer than thirty minutes, depending on your current level of Strength.

 

Also, there is no longer a notification when Strength is increased at the 20/100, 40/100, 60/100, 80/100 and 100/100 intervals. I believe that this is a byproduct of the "fix."

 

 

Edit:

 

The strength increase notifications at the 20/100, 40/100, 60/100, 80/100 and 100/100 intervals are present again after 1.16.
