100% video walkthrough

Hello

GTA 3 is the last GTA i'm trying to reach 100% at. Now i've read about it and apparently it's really easy to mess things up (doing certain missions too early resulting in gang members shooting you and making it impossible to then do other tasks in that area and so on).

It's a little confusing to me, as there seem to be a lot of these things to consider.

For that reason, i'm looking for a COMPLETE video walkthrough for 100%. I've checked youtube but i couls only find unfinished walkthroughs or ones with missing parts.. Is there any good one? I'm playing on the 360 (xbox version).

Thanks a lot!

Can anyone please tell me if this following playlist would allow me to get 100%? If i do everything in the order of these videos?

The playlist is in a correct order but its only got videos for about 1/3 of the game (Unless there is some second set that I can't see). Therefore I'll give you some tips on how you should play the game to get 100% easily.

The first thing you want to do after the completion of the first mission is get all of the side missions out of the way. This includes the 4 RC Missions ('Mafia Massacre', 'Rumpo Rampage', 'Casino Calamity' and 'Diablo Destruction), the 4 Off Road Missions ('Patriot Playground', 'Mulitstorey Mayhem', 'A Ride in the Park' and 'Gripped'), the 4 Vehicle Sub-Missions ('Paramedic', 'Vigilante', 'Firefigher' and 'Taxi Driver'), Hidden Packages, Rampages and Unique Stunt Jumps. (Some of the side missions listed above are placed on supposedly 'inaccesable' parts of the map at this point in the game, however you can use glitches to get to these).

This way not only will you have it of the way (Because it would be harder later in the game due to the consequences of particular storyline missions) but you will have a lot of cash, and a variety of Weapon, Health, Armor and Adrenaline Pill pickups at your hideouts, as well as approximately 52% of the game done.

After this all you have to do is complete the storyline and payphone missions but as you correctly said earlier, the completion of some missions before others will cause those particular incomplete missions to be a pain and as well as this, some missions will be locked out completely meaning you will not be able to get 100%. Here is the best way to avoid this:

  1. Stick to doing a particular contacts missions rather than doing them in a random order.
  2. Make sure all of Joey, Toni and Luigi's missions are done before the second of Salvatore's Missions.
  3. Make sure all of Asuka and Kenji's missions are done before Donald Love's Missions.

This way you will be able to get 100% easily and have no major problems other than the difficulty of some of the missions :)

Also, please don't double post, use the 'Edit' button in the bottom right of your post to add something :^:

Edit: The user who created the playlist you linked also has an older playlist which is fully complete here:

In short, complete all that is completable on any given area (Portland, Staunton, Shoreside) before you touch the marked employers' missions. Discretion must be used for certain *telephone employers*, tho (El Burro, King Courtney)...since completing those will cause the associated gang to hate you. Fortunately, the Diablos and Yardies both have low offensive capability. When completing marked employers for storyline completion: always choose a mission from the employer who contacted you earliest when presented with a choice, and you avoid the problem of being locked out of a mission thread.

This playlist I really enjoy. It's not finished, but shortly, it will.

Thanks for your replies! It's not possible to finish the Portland Import / Export without "official" access to the other islands, right? Because i could not find a way to drive a car back to Portland, and some of the cars needed are only available on the other islands.

Also, as soon as i'm done with all the side missions, and start to play through the story, should i just finish the story first or do the payphone missions first as soon as they show up?

No. The Portland I/E Garage requires the Dodo which is only available on Shoreside Vale so quite late in the story unless you use glitches to get there beforehand.

Story vs payphones doesn't matter as far as I know. Just make sure that you a) finish all available storyline missions on Portland before you take the last missions for Salvatore and b) finish Kenji's missions as fast as possible. Edited by Andreaz1
