What is the best AR for damage and range?

I didn't get a chance to read through the thread yet, but I used to use the Carbine Rifle and lately i've been using the Special Carbine to mix things up a little. If you can trade damage for range, then do it up! If not though, your Carbine Rifle is the best choice.

For me, I almost only use the Assault Shotgun these days.

 

With all the rolling and dodging, it's a crap-shoot when you engage someone with an equal weapon, it seems.

 

The Assault Shotgun is not only deadly as all heck, but it's just plain fun to listen to.

 

It's like listening to music made by an Assault Shotgun while you play GTAO and shoot other players.

clearly you disagree with something I said, but my K/D is a 12 and thats from a mix of all sorts of gameplay except for the tank which I only use to get people out of god mode, so following my own advice clearly pays dividends.

I use the plain Jane carbine rifle most times. Accuracy at range is the best IMO (free aim here)

 

If I'm shooting at a moving vehicle I go for a higher rate of fire: advanced, bullpup, assault SMG etc

Nope no body Armour. I'm not dumb. There is no blue bar on top of their heads when I shoot at them Plus Armour goes down really quick. I'm talking about Free roam.

No blue bar shows up anyway when they have armour, trust me.

^ never once have I seen an armor bar over a players head.....then again, my crew and I always turn off players names and health bars in deathmatches.

 

And yeah, I've been playing a lot of other games besides gta....as gta has become rather stale IMO.

Plus, who doesn't want to use a standard-issue, military-grade rifle?

AR and Carbine Rifle have the same range. Special Carbine = Carbine Rifle.

For me the bullpup rifle but srs besides the ak its just personal preference based on your playstyle u got to find out what fits u best.

I like the advanced but not the way it looks so would bullpup be as good in use as it looks better. Advanced is so ugly.
