Red Dot White Dot Time Ratio

What's Your Red Dot White Dot Time Ratio?

Mines about 96:4 and it's really starting to grate my arse. I want to be a white dot more often but I don't know how.

Every session it's the same. "Oh my dot is blood red, I'll go passive and cruise around and let it fade to at least faint red and hopefully white"

But it never happens. Someone approaches I kill them out of fear/retaliation, blow their PV as a standard sucker punch and I'm stuck still on red. This just repeats continuously.

What do I have to do? Go into invite only and wait in my garage for a day? Fs

Anyone else frustrated with always being a red dot? Sometimes peeps just fancy being social for a bit.

Anyone have any tips on how to become a white dot fast and easy?

Thank you

Maybe go invite only for a bit. I have no idea the time line though because I am rarely a white dot

There's a certain time of day where it will reset if I recall correctly.

Go on invite only and do missions/races etc. The dot will fade to lighter after a while (and you'll make cash in the process so win win).

Not sure of exact time but you will instantly reset from red to white. Which pissed me off. Perma-red FTW

I'm a psychopath and I usually play invite-only or alone. Even killing civvies f*cking does it for ya.

This. I go from red to white on a daily basis. I think it's a certain time of day when it resets because my whole crew goes from red to white. Just grind missions for a few hours (grinding doesn't have to be boring or mundane) just link up with some friends and vote for whatever tickles your fancy on the voting screen. A few hours of this and you'll be spawning into free mode as a white dot.... and banking six figures.

Stay out of free mode

It really should only be reflected on player killing only.

7:02 pm Eastern time daily.

I'm not sure about this but it seems like it shouldn't work in passive mode since you can't cause mayhem then anyway.

Try cruising around without passive mode for a while and see if it goes down.

if i turn red because of a killing spree i do some races to turn white and keep my racing skills up to date

The issue with cruising in passive is you can still sticky bomb people, so if anyone I approach attacks me then the red dot continues

I'm not really a fan of doing missions cause of the noobs failing, RR and no-hosting. I try race playlists but no one in the entire world wants to join them

Does anyone know if the gasoline plus ignition to blow up PVs affects your dot status?

Who cares what the color of your dot is? If it being red is causing others to mess with you just defend yourself and leave the area. If they follow then continue until they stop. I'm pretty sure my Red to White ratio is like 40:60 because I don't care about it.

If it really is bothering you, go into a private session or even just your apartment and use a rubber band to make you keep walking. Go out and when you come back you'll be white. problem solved.

mental state is such a useless feature...

i hate when im in session and them out of nowhere my dot resets!

its a stupid/useless feature but i have no business having a white dot when i can have it red!

they should remove the auto reset and make it that the dot would get whitter by every in-game hour you spend without killing other player.

Im in the same boat as you OP. I'll get to where it's a bar before complete psychopath, but then some idiot comes up & kills me, so i have to retaliate (muh k/d). Thus spiking it back up to full on red.
