AndroidModz14
Do you think Now don't mock me Some game companies do do this Could rockstargames create a sequel to gta vice city (i have finished gta vcs 10+ times. so don't bother bringing that up) Maybe featuring pete vance and tell us what happens to Tommy. Maybe on a handheld it would make sense if it was on a handheld. Like vcs for the psp Does anyone feel like rockstargames just created a prequel to gta vc just to tell us the background of lance and a few other vc characters And not Tommys Anyways what about gta San Andreas stories I know that they released the introduction but wouldn't you like to see a gra which delves into the background of the gta sa characters and maybe tells us the events that led up to brians death! Send me a link to thisNot only it's been specifically stated but also it wouldn't make sense to go back to the III era when we're already into GTA V. PowerKracker
There hasn't been a San Andreas Stories and there won't be. I know why hasn't there been SAS - LCS and VCS ran on a modified VC engine optimized for the PSP. The VC engine however cannot handle the SA map (it's pretty evident in both Stories games as it has load times between areas instead of being seamless like in SA), making a new one would've been too troublesome and game of a scope that big wouldn't have fit on PSP. Queen Elizabeth II
GTA LCS was somehow GTA SA sequel (Because it was set in 1998) and GTA SA was GTA VC sequel, most likely.
Ivars
Vice City in current era wouldn't make sense, game would totally lose it's atmosphere. If they'll ever do GTA in Vice City it must be in 80's.

Vercetti42
Just let go of the 3D era, it's over and it is not coming back. Those games were and still are amazing and do not need any sort of prequel or remaster or whatever. Plus it's always fun to speculate what happened at the end/before those games. Severe
Vice City in current era wouldn't make sense, game would totally lose it's atmosphere. If they'll ever do GTA in Vice City it must be in 80's See, I disagree completely. Yeah, the 80s were a special time for Miami, but there's still plenty of things going on there and it's still a very unique setting in terms of culture, demographics, climate and topography. I wouldn't mind another 80s VC, but I'd rather see a modern rendition. And it's not like Miami has disappeared from popular culture either, if TV and movies are any indication, modern Miami is still interesting. And more on-topic: No, I don't see them doing that, nor would I want them to. Edited August 17, 2014 by Severe

Its gta 6 setting But rockstargames is just too modern to go backwards It should be in the 80s Don't state it like a fact because it isn't, we don't know what the setting of VI will be. And Rocstar isn't ''too modern''. OK, they made IV and V set in present day at the time of release, so was III. It doesn't meant they can't decide to set the next one in the 60s if they wanted to.
