BacardiBuzz Posted August 17, 2014 Share Posted August 17, 2014 In my online experience the past few weeks I've encountered more and more hackers and modders and not to mention more and more godmoders and invincible car morons (which is going to continue to multiply the longer it takes for Rockstar to fix all of this ridiculousness). But, I haven't seen too many people give a hand to those playing the game as intended. At least majority are still playing this game legit. I'm even talking to you tank and jet griefers. I'm also talking to you, guy who sits outside LSC waiting to blast me as soon as I come out. Remember when people on this forum used to cry because some moron in a tank kept spawn f**king them over and over? At least those idiots weren't making me want to play something else. I could get revenge on that LSC guy cause guess what? He could actually die. That's another thing. Why do these morons do this? I never could get the point of putting a bunch of Ferris wheels on the road. Are they doing it just to show they can? Cause it looks boring as f**k to me. I can get the Godmode guy for a minute. But in my opinion it is WAY more satisfying shooting and killing someone knowing he could of just as easily killed me. What's the fun in killing someone over and over again knowing they can't kill you? Also seems boring to me. Enough of my rant. If someone could give good answers to the above questions, great, otherwise again, high fives all around to those of you continuing to play this game without being a cheating moron. Hopefully you guys will hang in there until Rockstar fixes all of the issues. Am I the only one who says screw DLC, give me a mod/hack/Godmode free environment first?! (Or, if you're a Family Guy fan, "because you touch yourself at night.") I believe that the few out there that engage in such behaviors actually enjoy ruining the online experiences of other players. I would just prefer they fix what's broken first. Are you talking about the Xbox360 version or PS3 version when it comes to the mods and hacks? As soon as I'm sure a player is in god mode I balls out race to my apt so I can record them on the tv to send to rockstar. And always message the people that I'm reporting. If you freeroam, you should have been able to pick up enough new friends to play an invite only session, unless you're an arsehole to people. So, get dlc, play with yer mates invite only and enjoy the new stuff safe and sound for a few days while they fix the problems. A couple of days away from public lobbies is fine when there's new stuff to drive / shoot / fly. That's also better for the fortunates who haven't come across a problem, I can't see them wanting a delay for something they don't see as an issue. If you're a Billy No Mates and have no one to play with, you're probably one of the saddos trolling / modding / hacking anyway. It's never been hard to get away from them. Call lester, remove your dot from the radar, and drive away... People use God mode, for just the reasons you mention. Guys sitting out in front of LSC, guys waiting at Aprt garage doors with explosives waiting for someone to drive out so they get easy kills. Snipers at shops. Guys blocking doors. Tank grievers, jet grievers and just plain A holes. These same guys laugh and talk smack, just like a modder would. Only they aren't "cheating" right, so they get to say "Its part of the game". When a holes run the servers, you have the choice of hiding in private or taking your chances. I personally dont use cheats that affect others. If I come across a griever or spawn killer, I would just to shut em down. Its either be a bit** or get mine and if I have to cheat to beat a griever, I wouldnt feel bad about it. I do laugh heartily at the grievers who cry when a cheater gets em. And I'd say I get it at least half the time as long as they don't leave, run into their apartment, or the off chance they are really good, but although I wouldn't say I'm great, I'm usually better than the ones who pull this move. With Godmoders there is only 1 revenge. Running them over with a tank, which I've also seen work about half the time. I'll take my odds with the regular player (if you wanna call him that). I for one, find R*'s wide over reach, trying to make a fair and perfect world out of this, the real problem. Look close, and you'll see a smaller model, of any tyrannical government, that wants to control everything. I'll tell you just how it turns out in the end to..... (Watchdogs) game beat me to it. Blaming the "hackers" is a lame excuse, especially when R* themselves, de-rates, and steals from players accounts, more then the so called "hackers". Real laziness is thinking R* will make make everything better for you....... well, if you are a lab rat in a totally controlled test bubble...... then it could be fair over all. All in all, to each their own. R* will bring the games death, and at the rate I see people's ability to make money in the game now....... I don't think it's too far off. The downloaded content sucks big time. Out of a huge list of good ideas that players have taken the time to submit, the developers ignore them and instead implement what they feel we would like. There will never be a foolproof method to stop hackers. So yes, you're asking too much. I'd like to live in a world where murder and rape don't exist, sadly that is not the case. I mean he did have no life and tons of time on his hand. You see how stupid you look, when you decide you are arrogant enough to know everyones reasons for things? Why dont you get a life?
