Save editor problem

So I have an account where I test out cheats for games and mods for gta. After downloading the save editor everything works fine except for the garage. I am able to change vehicles and customise them, but not able to save them. So when I go back in games all my cars are still the same. Anyone know how to fix this? Thanks
