"different infection type" was using exploit to stay hidden and Avast now recognizes it. I got on today and went to boot up an older version when avast stopped it and moved to vault due to a suspicious program in the executable. I hope this gets removed so that I can try to take livery of taxi or put taxi livery on one of these unmarked cruisers. lol. It's full of bugs and car mods don't save (the cars don't even appear in the SP garages) Stick to the old 2.0.1.5, disconnect from the internet first to avoid automatic updates. B7R Posted September 20, 2014 Share Posted September 20, 2014 Right so some other guy posted saying how he used Virustotal to see if it had a virus which it did. Now i just checked a fresh copy using VirusTotal and AVG Internet Security 2014 and they are both saying it's harmless or safe to use. *I downloaded the save editor from the website today and only downloaded the save editor (not the DLL's) and it's clean as i said. May be different for other people / computers. I have no idea if i'm affected, The windows32Rootkitgen is not showing up in my Task manger processor. I'm worried myself if it's affected.
