What's your opinion on GTA YouTubers?

Steer clear of MrBossFTW, he will milk anything that happens gta related. If R* breathes he'll make 5 videos on it. He loves to clickbait and mislead people with concept DLC or mods. He also steals information from other people. He isn't even competent enough to remember core mechanics of the game or pronounce things correctly. His livestreams are all lame.

Personally, I don't care if MrBossFTW makes money off his videos. What I don't like is how he and any other formulaic GTA YouTubers pander to the lowest common denominator for the sake of profit. From what I can tell, this seems to be double for YouTubers like LispyJimmy, Sernadoe, Nought, and any YouTuber who acts like those guys. I might be a hypocrite for this, but I still watch MrBossFTW, only because I don't know of any actually good YouTubers who talk about leaks and rumors. And even then I don't watch all his videos; I just click on the ones about leaks/rumors if it seems somewhat legit, then click on his sources, or go straight here to the forums without watching the entire video.

They do, oh lord they suck. Not the good succ either.

 

But I have a little bit of respect for DatSaintsFan, he's not as bad. He's like the one kid with edgy friends who encourage him to do stupid things, he's just going along with it, he's not really one of "them".

Isn't one of their problems that they're all doing the exact same thing? Trying to be the exact same personality (or lack of it) to get attention? Seems boring and unoriginal. Overselling their so-called unique content, trying to sound hip and cool for the kids, pretending to be down with/for the community. Could they sound any more fake than they do? Bleurgh.

 

I'll watch video of the guys and girls who sound like they're being themselves and aren't trying super hard to get attention when they can just be making quality stuff instead.
