OT: my opinion is that, the youtubers like MrsCocksWTF, LipsyGreasy, Dat ClickbaitFan and other news channels are absolute garbage, and they do Youtube for money which I don't like and they think that youtube is a job but i will not take them seriously until they get a real job. They barely credit people and all. Thats my opinion

He was in a public lobby on his MrLoweriderDLC account. I don't know if he was recording or not but I kept killing him. I know someone who's in his crew, he's switching places with me so I can be in it. I want to ruin his livestreams

For the most part the Gta 5 Youbtuber community is just a malignant cancer of bottom feeders who do nothing but make clickbait videos and don't truly provide any content. They just mumble incoherently until they reach the 10 minute mark so they can slap 50 ads on one video and just let the cash roll in. Basically minimum effort for maximum profits.

 

That best describes most of them in a nutshell such as Domislive, LispyJimmy, Sernandoe, and a few others. These bottom feeders for example will come up with fake rumors for Gta 6, which we all know is not true as Rockstar is tight lipped as hell on the development of their games until an official anouncement. They also talk about glitches and exploits, as well as speculations they pulled out there ass that are never proven right among other topics.

Then what they do with any of these topics which can be summed up in two or three minutes they stretch out to 10 minutes by just talking in circles and avoid getting to the point until that 10 minute mark is reached. Which for those who do not know you can put more ads on your youtube video if its over 10 minutes so this is why clickbaiters strive for this and no more.

 

To top it all off they then make a clickbaity title that is usually in all caps and a thumbnail that is not truly representative of what you're suppose to expect in the video and there you go. Thats your typical Gta 5 Youtuber in a nutshell.

The GTA community on YouTube has changed a lot, yeah, a lot of YouTube channels revolving around GTA seems to be a cult of personality nowadays rather than a place for proper PSA / works' showcases like what they were used to be, at least for me. I do understand why they are doing some of the things they are doing when it comes to personal branding and channel development / audience building though, since I like posting stuff on YouTube from time to time myself, and those two things have certain rule of thumbs people like to follow, but I wouldn't disagree if you say some of them are posting borderline sh*t materials on a daily basis.

 

Maybe it's just a result from the demand coming from an influx of an audience from a new generation who can access the internet much more easily now, I mean, I have a little brother who likes those kinds of channel for some reason, he's like 15. I remember back when I was around his age I scours all over the internet, being an active member of several gta communities, learned about forums' bbcode, create forums for my sa-mp clan, learned scripting.. Good times. My brother barely knows how to Google practical stuff for himself and swim in these cult of personality cesspools all day long.

3 - Destroy the cars with the RPG.

4 - Maybe a final message like "Thats for your clickbait and ripoffs".

5 - Get out from the lobby and the crew.

All this will be made during pre-stream. Maybe Ross could talk about this. Or not...

Good! Activate any CEO or VIP mission so you can't be kicked!

 

My favorite is Haulage, 20 minutes and no cops.

 

You can even avoid getting kicked after the job timer has run out.

Just before the time is over call any contact on your phone and ask for a contact mission, then open up the phone before the time is over and join the job,

stay in the lobby for about 5-6 minutes so you can activate another CEO/VIP mission.

Alternatively you can wait 10 minutes and start Haulage again.

If someone else already started something quickly go back into the contact mission lobby again.

 

This way you will never be kicked, you just need to be fast enough.

All the videos those youtubers produce are crappy videos, i know some guys and a girl that upload better videos about GTA V and GTA Online, much better quality and if they do comment videos, they dont sound like idiots all the time, i preffer to stay on the "Low views" part of youtube, 90% of the time people with less views and subs have better content.

Gtaseriesvideos show each new car and its customization. Same with clothing. Sub to them, they're great. Straight to the point, no annoying commentary, no stupid intro.

Got my hydra, tried to kill him. Sadly the little fücker was in passive. Of course he had whitewalls on his t20, but that's not a surprise to anybody, is it?

He didn't even deny that he's clickbaiting like a little cünt in the end, his excuse was "all big youtubers do it". Piece of shît. Put some effort into your videos and views will come. I can't stand those guys. It's hard to find proper channels on youtube nowadays.

Asked why he's ripping off broughy's lap times, since he's one of those that think top speed is the most important thing. Didn't give me a proper answer to that. What a surprise. Later on he said around 90% don't care about the lap times. Asked again, why does he fücking rip them off then. Didn't respond to that.

Why are people like him and mrclickbaitfml on pc even, can't they fück off to console again? Only reason they're here is because of money dropping cheaters, anyways.

There are impressive GTA V youtube channels which show awesome stuff.
Then there are GTA V youtube channels which show stupid and glitch stuff.
Lastly you have GTA V youtube channels which are nothing but clickbait and need to be taken down.

 

Somewhere in the middle you have a "channel" which has a few awesome things, but it's really just someone sharing an experience and getting maybe 30-40 views (I'm one of those people). Not because I want views, but mainly to share with my friends and I send them a link.

Example of Type 1: Redkeymon and his stunts. Love his montages.
Example of Type 2: anyone posting glitches, cheats, and troll montages (exempt from these is the guy who convinced some level 8000 modded accounts to delete their account because it's "a new glitch")
Example of Type 3: MrBossFTW - seriously, this dude is just annoying and I'll tell you all in a few minutes about some really cool stuff going on but first let me talk to you about some random stupid sh*t that never gets to the point and then the point I actually make is also stupid and 95% of the time turns out to be nothing or just speculation that most people have already heard....omg just shut it down already. CLICKBAIT!

YouTube caters for specific interests, and one of my interests is gaming and GTA online so I sometimes watch YouTubers because of that.

 

The problem is most of them are 'made for Adsense' channels, and serve no real purpose other than hoping you click on their ads. This means that most GTA YouTubers are boring leechers that give us nothing that most GTA Forum users don't know already, plus you have to sift through a lot of garbage to get useful GTA online information. Why bother, just play the game.

 

95% of them could disappear and no-one would really notice.

Just because I'm lazy I tend to watch the Mrbossftw vids... It's obvious he does it to make money, but for most part I find some useful info in there. It saves me the time to look everything up on the different information platforms. That time I can use to play my beloved game. That Lispyjimmy stuff I don't watch at all... That guy is a pure clickbaiter... He fooled me a few times, but you can only fool people for a certain amount of time... Besides I don't like his annoying style and voice... Definitely not my cup of tea...

 

I like broughy's channel alot. The dude has useful info wrt GTA-racing and vehicles, and I genuinely like his take on the things he posts... He also does other things than just play/race gta, like for instance his unboxing vids are fun... And I never felt clickbaited whenever I opened a vid based on the title...

 

But say what you want, all these guys have a massive following and most do invest alot of time and effort to make vids. With all the editing, commenting and playing games, it does consume alot of time. So being succesful on YouTube and trying to make a living based on it does mean it's a dayjob as well. So for all that I give them all credit. You can't grow and get a following like some of them do/did, by just sitting on your ass and playing GTA. Doesn't work that way.

 

What I do resent about some of them, is when they're dishonest/clickbaiting people/not crediting where credit is due....But despite that and I'm pretty sure most people feel the same way, they keep on having an impressive following. Perhaps it's just a (new) generation thing... People don't care to think about it too much. They just watch stuff and don't really care about being too critical on what and who they see/watch...

 

I think it's just best to not invest too much time in 'retaliation' in live streams and stuff. It's not exactly that they're forcing anyone to watch their stuff? I try to keep things positive in my life, which is already hard enough, hehe... If I'm not interested in content/ feel tricked, I just don't watch it anymore. Unsub and move on.... Trying to mess up other people efforts, even if I dont like them or their stuff, is just a bridge too far for me... Live and let live... Sooner or later dishonesty and clickbaiting do catch up on you...
