I had to call MrBoss out on using a forum member's snap as a thumbnail once. When he responded, he acted as if it was ok to do because he couldn't source it. If you can't source it, then don't f*cking use it. Period. That's called being reputable.

To be fair, this is a forums based on GTA. Some people use these forums as a resource to advance themselves in the games, or find out new information etc. YouTube videos are just another way of finding out information you might not no, plenty of people playing GTA who've only just started. Some people may even be of the opinion that the threads advertising these videos, of GTA Online gameplay, are more relevant to these forums then this post just bashing people. But that's some people.

Vanoss is kinda meh, he attracts too many of the little kids that play GTA, btw Your signature is awesome, Filthy Frank is God,

 

He does target mostly younger audiences but at the end of the day him and his buddies make a great content overall, his editing is on spot, the videos dont feel rushed/pumped out, and his humor isn't exaggeratedly immature.

 

I just hope his channel doesnt dry up in terms of quality like that god awful Pewdiepie channel, or Tobuscus.

Pewdiepie's entire fanbase is emo 12 year olds, I still have no idea how his channel is 30 million strong

Am I the only one here who thinks Domislive didn't deserve to get his channel taken down? The reason why he keeps on making new ones is so he can make videos for his fans, he's not my favourite GTA youtuber but the amount of hate he gets is pathetic, I was disgusted at how people treated him when he made an account on this forum, the only thing I didn't like about him is that he didn't always give credit, but most of the time he did.

 

One GTA youtuber I hate is Icrazyteddy, he's annoying and half his videos are just content made from other people, like that GTA SA shortfilm, he put the whole f*cking thing on his channel.

 

Another GTA Youtuber I like is Datsaintsfan, I like the videos he makes and he doesn't upload the same videos as Dom or teddy, he does his own thing, I don't recall him ever doing 20 videos on leaked info or "Borrowing" others content.

 

ANOTHER GTA youtuber I like aswell is Fantastical Gamer, at first some might hate him but he does try to be original with his videos.

Tbh I think the people who constantly talk sh*t about GTA youtubers are worse than the youtubers themselves. I'm not saying that they shouldn't be criticized, but I don't like how some people take it on a too personal level.

Like a bunch of people here have already said, he gives no credit to the people who find the information and post it here, and tries to pass it off as his own.

 

A few weeks ago I happened to have one of his videos show up as a suggested video on Youtube (probably because I am subscribed to a couple of youtubers that do a lot of GTA V/GTA Online videos) and it basically a click bait video. The title he used was enough to tell it was likely full of fake info - The title was about GTA VI, it's location, and release date having been confirmed, and he used a GTA VI logo that a ton of other Youtubers have used.

 

I said it before and I'll say it again, if he would just give credit to the people he takes information from people on here, he would have less people not liking him.

I'm talking for myself here. Between work, family and life in general, I don't have the time to scour this or other forums looking for tiny bits of GTA news or information. That's where some of these youtubers come in. They have the time to do so and report on what they find. If I find something they say that interests me, I'll come and read up for myself to corroborate. Granted, some youtubers are annoying as hell (especially that guy who claims to have "the best GTA content in the whole Milky Way galaxy"), but for people who want specifics real quick, they do the job. And, if I don't like a video, that's what the back button is for...

Honestly I grew up with GTA and GTA community was huge part of my life.

Now when I see "GTA" youtubers if you can even call them that, posting GTA Glitches and stupid fake dlc info vids I wanna stab them..

From my perspective it looks like they are only money hungry and are abusing GTA Community and Youtube Gaming community to get all views.

GTA to me is more than just a game, it was a part of my life since I was a very young kid.

I like GTA 5 mods, GTA Online and LSPDFR police mod. That's the part I like about this community.

That's what we should strive to do and not to spam fake glitch and info vids and re-upload them each day to get more views..

Cool GTA youtubers if you ask me are: VanossGaming, TypicalGamer, JeffFavigiano (LSPDFR) and maybe GamingLemon.
