A few days ago I covered the Rockstar newswire like I always do when theres something worth reporting on like many other youtubers, I did a video on the GTA V PC images along with a comparison video, my video did great like always thanks to my awesome subscribers who view my content, the next day I received a copyright strike from a fan with 48 subscribers by the name of XpertRangers56 who even showcases my channel on his page as one of his favorite channels, I was shocked this happen told him I got my images from the Rockstar Newswire and these were public pictures that any youtuber or website can use.

 

I appealed my strike with youtube, I contacted him respectfully and I waited for a response from youtube. I got a email back from Xpert but it was too little too late, youtube acted and decided that I misused the counter strike appeal system and once again I lose my channel to the same way. I dont understand why my luck is so bad and I wish there was someone who would speak to us before terminating accounts, I do believe I'll get my DomisLive2 account back, the proof is too strong..

 

I used images that were owned by Rockstar and not XpertRanger.. he didn't create GTA V PC, You can't strike someone for something you don't own.. even if you made the video before them and I made mine before him and thats why this is insane to me. If I don't get my account back I will stream on Twitch but I'm sure I will, Youtube has a very strict policy on their reporting system I only wish the right people handled appeals, after this tweet long I'll post the proof I have of our conversation.

I've noticed a lot of GTA channels that ask for likes and copy each other with themes such as annoying dubstep music. I immediately want to close the window when I hear someone start a video over enthusiastically. It's stressful to hear some random person screaming "what's up guys". After reading most of the posts in this topic I'm glad a lot of people feel the same way as I do about GTA V YouTubers.

 

It's as if they were all made in a factory. Any YouTuber asking for likes loses my respect.

Was browsing Youtube for GTA5 PC Mods (hoping someone might of found one and showed footage of it) Only to instead not come across GTA5 PC Mod videos but instead come across Falsely named and misleading videos

 

 

How the F***K Is it a modification? Do I need to provide a Dictionary definition for Modification? Yes? OK then here's the meaning of it.

 

 

 

A mod or modification is the alteration of the program code of a videogame in order to make it operate in a manner different from its original version

 

There is nothing different that was added by someone from outside Rockstar games, the Director mode was included in the base game and does not need modifications to be accessed in any shape or form.

 

I also want to add that I don't care if the Title or Description just briefly mentions it. To Me that's still fully misleading. a 3rd party hasn't added anything in any way and it's part of the Vanilla game (unmodded game) If I can access it without the need for adding 3rd party content then it's not a MODIFICATION

 

Sorry if I took it this too far but this a difference between Modification and content already in available in game without using content to add it.

Man, i don't like Dom's channel, it was very hard for me to watch a video of him, but, he did nothing wrong to get his channel deleted, i mean, if you don't like the dude's channel, simply don't watch it, it turns out that some youtubers live from doing videos, his channel being suspended may cause a lot of trouble for him.

I've never payed any attention to youtubers, but after hearing about this idiot, who lost his V serial number by showing it on a livestream, I've decided to make a little research. So, here are my half serious, half sarcastic thoughts:

 

1. Youtubers (from now on, I'm going to use the word "idiots" to describe them, if you don't mind) do videos to get more clicks, likes and whatever else, which is $. They do not come up with anything - they either copy each other and post the same worthless crap or post leaked info that someone already posted on Tweeter. And if there's no info/leaks/news for few days, they gotta post something, right? So they're filming crap in GTA Online, shooting and racing. That's it. I've just described you every single GTA channel (except GTASeriesVideos and VadimM, whom I have nothing against - they're good guys and true GTA fans).

2. Every video they make has [email protected]#$ing dubstep music in it, preferably with flashy intro, probably made with Digital Tutors videos and/or projects. Oh, by the way, after that and after the video itself, we get ~1 minute of ads and hear these idiots begging for thumbs up and subscribing, to "stay in touch and get the newest and greatest GTA news". And don't forget to follow these assholes on social media.

3. GTA tuning and color tutorials are even funnier. So basically, what they do is taking normal and pearlescent colors and naming it. Combine brown with orange and you get Sunshine Diarrhea and if you replace orange with purple, it becomes Midnight Turd.

Seriously, are people that stupid? Both these idiots and their fans? Isn't the tuning all about expressing your personal style, experimenting? Damn...

And if that's not enough, youtubers later present you "their colors", on Zentornos/Adders with white walls on tires, colored tiresmoke, neons, xenon lights and black plates. I tell ya, that alone should be a good reason to grief 'em all day long. Not even startin' with chrome paintjobs.

4. They have absolutely fo freaking idea what they're talking about. For example, I've seen a video about some DLC vehicles, when one of these idiots showcased, let's say, Stallion. I've felt personally offended when this moron didn't even know in which game Stallion appeared for the first time. Is it really so hard to check it on GTA Wiki or something? How long would it take? 30 seconds?

But hey, first GTA is probably older than most of these youtubers, so who would care? What could you expect from people who grew up with Minecraft?

Some of them didn't even play III era games and still claim to be GTA experts, with "latest and greatest GTA info".

5. They're a disgrace to GTA community and I do not consider them a part of it. If we let them in and accept them as valuable source of information or show them any support, there's risk that GTA will end up like Minecraft - dominated by 11 years old, with 14 years old veterans and anyone 18+ years old ashamed of it.

I'm not suggesting that we (the community) should close to newcomers or become elitists of any sort. We're strong as a group and we definitely should stick together, enjoy the games and support our people. Youtubers are not here because of fun, passion, skills nor friendship. They're here to take information, make videos out of them and get money from YouTube.

Concluding, anyone who begs for thumbs up doesn't deserve them.

I hope that GTA Machinima makes a comeback, with the video editor there will be plenty of opportunities to make some creative and good content. I don't watch these 'news' channels because you can find everything on the Rockstar website and here.

Well here is why... acceptance. A large number of people started doing it at some point, which leads to other people to do it as well so they can feel like they belong in this forum's culture. And there is nothing wrong with that is just human behavior at it's finest. We follow what the majority do be accepted by this majority, to soak in with their culture. You can call that hating on dom is basically one of this forum's memes, just like ironically enjoying giant's cars is a thing everyone does, despise the hate he used to get back then, but now this is the fad.

honestly, I don't hate him to jump on the GTAForums bandwagon... I hate him because I hate people who did that sh*t before him... back before GTA V even had info released someone used the gostown paradise map and said made a few modifications and a video stating it was the new GTA V map... lets just say he made quite a pretty penny off of that... Greedy f*cker...

 

as for other youtubers, I hate how they are only in it to capitalize off GTA V since its new. especially youtubers who either dont even like GTA V or have never played a GTA Game in their life who are looking to make a quick buck... Greed in general pisses me off...
