What's your opinion on GTA YouTubers?

If you got married and had children, would you still use YouTube as a full-time-job or you'll find a job like normal sane people do? After all, sitting your ass up in your room making videos about glitching and hacking and ruining a videogame even though you say you're against glitching isn't a job, its a hobby.

 

 

First you're applying that youtubers aren't normal but and I'm a regular guy like you, I assume you're a guy, youtube is a job, its mental job we're cyber bullied everyday and if I was weak minded I would have ran away a long time ago.

I don't see myself quitting youtube, I love doing this, I'm able to brighten the day of people who love my content and I'm paid greatly.

 

Show me a video where I said I was against glitching, I've been doing them since the start of GTA 5

I keep hearing allot of people, including SugarFreeNos saying that you're against glitching. Also, be honest. Even if you have children would you still use YT as a source of money or not, because from reading your post you didn't answer my question right.

Searching Google for thumbnails is Ok as long as the thumbnail is a plain picture taken from the game that you spice it up a bit, but puting thumbnails that literally have absolutely NOTHING to do with the video in any way shape or form is beyond my levels of comprehension.

Searching Google for thumbnails is Ok as long as the thumbnail is a plain picture taken from the game that you spice it up a bit, but puting thumbnails that literally have absolutely NOTHING to do with the video in any way shape or form is beyond my levels of comprehension.

Also, that's considered stealing. Using edited screenshots is fine as you said, but using other people's artwork (like Patrick's case) and/or pics from Google without permission is stealing. Also, using the "i found dis pic in google therfor i can use it" stupid line of defense is like saying "dis gurl is sluty therfor i can rap her" or "dis guy is ugly derfor i can buly him".

I don't try to mislead with my thumbnails, I just aim for something that looks nice, and yes I do use Google for some pictures like many of youtubers but sometimes I make my own, when I make a video speaking about a zombies DLC coming , I just google zombie games and use that as an image and I see nothing wrong with that if the intention isn't to mislead.

 

But theres allot of things we do and our intentions are never known, I can upload a tip and tricks video and someone may post in the comments you're running out of content or this is old, when in fact there's will always people who may find it new, so whats old to one person thats a GTA veteran is new to someone who just bought the game or just didn't know about it the trick. You still didn't answer my question, you obviously try to put something that looks nice as a thumbnail, who doesn't? but what about stuff that has NOTHING to do with the contents of your video? Many other gaming youtubers are able to get succesful by actually using ethical techniques and puting thumbnails that are relevant to the video.

 

On a side note, I always knew you weren't really a bad person, is just that your practices bring hate upon you.

Thank you and I can only speak for myself, I cant speak for others in the community, I don't recall picking out pictures for thumbnails to mislead people because I know that's going to lead to hate, and I think this falls in the intentions boat.

I have even changed my intro I believe for the last month or two, I haven't asked for likes at the start of my videos and what people don't understand is my intro is me, its very known intro and most enjoy it and I changed it because people saw it as begging for likes and most people think we get paid for them.

As I already expressed my opinion on GTA YouTubers/exploiters before, I am willing to give this guy a credit (DomisLive). At least he is trying to achieve any kind of communication (even so he is being constantly under attack here, which I personally can understand why) with us, the fans from forums and speak up about the reasons behind the whole YT exploiting scene. I also think he is the only one who had the guts to confront people about the matter. By saying that, I mean I personally contacted a few of GTA YouTubers, which do much worst things than this guys and get's all the fame in the end, with only one question: Why do you exploit the series, the fans and other people's work for your own benefits only and not doing it of the love and for the sake of the series as you represent yourself? I never got any answers from anybody. Just blind hatred from their subscribers for pointing out on something they obviously don't have a slightest clue or care about. (fine by me if that's your top GTA content of the day)

 

Which also shows he is decent enough and cares about people's opinion from around here. That does not mean I support his doings on YT but I understand why he does what he does.

 

@DomisLive: I agree with most of people's opinion. As I see you are trying to go over the path of redemption you should definitely put much more time and effort for starters into crediting people which content you use, share and talk about in your videos, daily. Do you have any idea how much time, creativity, skills, knowledge and effort people put into their mods, graphics and the rest of wicked things you people use like it's expendable??? I assume you don't. Well it's a lot and most of them do it for the love and sake of the series as true fans for it's fans, while at the end of the day they don't see any penny out of it in. Do you think it would be at least nice if they get a little bit of appreciation for their hard work from people who use it (and make money of it), which obviously have a lot of influence over YT audience by simply paying respects and crediting them in your video descriptions and simply putting links of their content so other people can easily look them up for themselves too?! It's not hard bro.

 

I also have a question. Would you care to express your honest opinion on a video content from a GTA veteran who is with the series from the very first start, who do quite opposite of off you guys? I am very interested to hear what you think about this kind of entertainment...
