What's your opinion on GTA YouTubers?

One of my fav is Astro Soup 

[GTA-Biker]

I like GTA Series Videos because they are actually making informative videos,as well as those youtubers who are just playing for fun and goofing around for entertainment (like Vanoss, H2O Delirious, Lui Calibre, Wildcat, Cartoonz and the rest of their crew),and those who are making machinimas.

As for the ones who are making videos with clickbait titles and thumbnails,repeating what they said 5 times just to stretch the video over 10 minutes,and constantly giving people false information about future DLCs or GTA 6 (such as Bossman f*ck The World, Sernandoe, I Crazy Teddy, Lispy Jimmy, Dat Saints Fan, Dom Is Live and some others),I avoid their videos.I just hate how,after I watch a couple of videos by GTA Series Videos,for the next week or so Youtube starts recommending me videos by Bossman f*ck The World.

I have never clicked on a BossFML video, but while I was watching a Ghilliemaster video, some tryhard's channel was the next video in the auto.play.

 

It was glorious, lol. 3-1/2 hours of multiple tryhards killing mrbossftw and his crew in two videos. It looked like his own crew is trolling hiim, too, but I'm guessing the majority of his crewmates are toddlers.

 

Do all of his livestreams end up like that?

I'm trying to stay away from them because of the whole brag-about-gta-3-gdd-they-bought-and-refuse-to-share-info-about-it fiasco. Plus Willlyzzzz or however you spell it has videos in better quality imo

I've been watching a channel called "Unwanted Highlights." It mostly ridicules MrBossFTL and some guy called Lispey Jimmy, showing...highlights from their livestreams. It's fairly entertaining, lol.

If you arent making videos using scm scripting, professional editing software or otherwise.. You deserve a f*ckin slap in the face and a kick in the nuts.

 

I grew up part of gtastunting. Crews and individuals putting 100+ hours into 4 minute videos.

Cheers. It's a shame Youtube doesn't do something about him, the clickbaiting and sh*tty long videos I can ignore (too many people on the platform do it) but stealing someone's else words is just scummy and he should be blasted off the platform for it at this point.

Even earlier than that, GTAGaming (another GTA fansite from back in the day) also called him out when he was stealing images from the website and tried to claim that Rockstar Games sent them to him personally.

@J-Scott-D I'm a whippersnapper/young buck/little guy in GTA:O land having only started mid 2019 in the online world, but BossFTW videos were always bullsh*t trying to actually glean content or help out of them.  This forum has been amazing in cutting through the noise.  I'm not a social media person, but most of what I see is the same kind of clickbait garbage that FTL puts out, so even though I disagree with blowing up someone's sale, I would absolutely troll the sh*t out of that specific guy in a lobby like it was my day job.

To be fair, I actually didn't mind him when I first started watching him. His videos aren't bad and he's got a fairly good speaking voice. As entertainmment, he's ok. If he put out original content he could be pretty good. But he doesn't unfortunately.

He is just as bad or at least he used to be. I haven't seen any of those clickbaiting a**holes videos showing up in my recomended for years. Best way to deal with them is to ignore their videos and don't talk about them. People that dislike their videos are still giving them views and constantly talking about them gets other people to check what is so bad and gives them more views.

I agree, 

While we're on the topic of him doing DLC speculation videos, I can tolerate him doing them but I would rather have them once a month rather than every 2-3 days and the same goes with GTA 6 Speculation I'd rather have one video a month talking about that. 

 

If I was running a Youtube channel I'd do one video at the end of the month/at the beginning of the next month talking about DLC speculation or GTA 6 rumours that have happend over the past month.

Not that I know of. Most of the good Youtubers stick to actual news from R* and maybe some leaks from trusted leakers but stay away from rumors and speculations as 95% of the time they are all false.

Most GTA Youtubers , I know only report stuff coming straight from rockstar and no one else, not even trusted insiders like Fun or Mach (Is Mach an insider?).  

I think the only good one that reports rumours from trusted insiders is probably Silentc0re. I don't think anyone else does
