Randoms who try to beep into your garage/apartment: Any reason not to?

If somebody hits the buzzer to enter your garage, they need to stay in the buzzer menu until you let them in. If they don't and you go to the garage door to let them in, you simply walk outside.

If they are inclined to do you harm, you might be helpless to resist their attack, since you're. caught in a walkout animation.

This. Exactly this happened which is why I assume you shouldn't do it.

I let them in at the front door,

But I'm too paranoid of wandering outside to let them in the garage. Once it was just someone wanting to check out my cars, but the rest have given the weird creeper vibe, that's about when I just disappear. Edited by trhacker01

I always let randoms in.

Then I get drunk and try to lead them into my bedroom while doing the shush animation.

You could take the time to go into your apartment and use the door inside your apartment, true. It always gives you a chance to choose your destination.

Or, if you're in a garage-only location you could just invite that person to your apartment then, it's on them to accept, instead of risking exposure.

Have they patched the sticky-bomb-on-the-back-of-players-blowing-people-up-inside-apartments glitch?

This was intentionally added to the game, its not a glitch.

Never get buzzed as I am never in my Apt, but I do get invites all the time, but never accept or care.

I quite often have people buzzing my apartment. Don't know why, it's one of the low end ones. I don't let them in, I have no reason to.

I rarely even allow my friends into my apartment, let alone randoms, they don't stand a chance. 9 times out of 10 I just ignore the buzzer and continue on with my business.

I don't let any randoms in. Nor do I accept invites (or buzz randoms doors myself).

I dont let them in as I've seen the sticky bombed passive blowing up someone in their apartment. While no big deal really (after all I'll just re spawn and get my revenge) it is a hassle.

Then there is the good old buzz and walk away and kill you in the exit cut scene trick.

The worst that can happen is that they will follow you around doing the air thrust and jerk. And that is guaranteed to happen 100% of the time. :p

I let people in to my apartment, then i play the "How long can i make you wait" game..

For some reason it amuses me, once someone is in my apartment, i'll send them a message saying "Hang on just going to the loo, Rolling a doob etc" and see how long they will wait for me before they get bored and sod off... 22 Minutes is the longest so far......

Need a bucket of hot oil over the buzzer to dump on anyone buzzing my door. Never let them in even before they could be wearing a sticky bomb, would definitely go passive before letting anyone in if I did..

I've had people actually leave the session rather than let me into their garage. Admittedly when that's happened it's been someone that I've just killed repeatedly and I'm trying to trick them into leaving so I can kill them again. GTA is so much better than real life. In real life you only get to kill someone once!

I wish there was an animation where your character puts his/her hand through window blinds and looks out all suspicious.

No one's home. Go away!

That's already been confirmed for the next update - "Curtain Twitcher DLC" where you can masturbate furiously at people walking past your apartment. If they see you you get a 5 star wanted level.

I knew it. So people do it to sticky bomb you. Damn, hasn't happened to me yet, but it seems nowhere is safe from GTA Online's anarchist.

I let someone in with a $9000 bounty then we got in my futo and left I detonated a grenade that blew us up to get his bounty and then paid my $100 insurance making a pretty good profit. he was not amused no one ever expects suicide bombers

Randoms are strange. They're either total psychopaths willing to kill everything in sight or creeps who like to roam about stalking you and/or picking you up and driving you around for no particular reason.

Meh. If someone ever buzzes my apartment, I'll just let them in and leave if things get...weird.

im a pick a person and drive around aimlessly.
