London or Vice City both set in 80's. That would be great. London in 80's was home to many ethnically diverse gangs, like the Indian gangs which were intially formed to protect the community from rascist attacks, transformed into violent criminal organisation who then started to compete with the Iranians over the herion trade. Turkish mafia is still a big threat in London. It was said that Turkish Mafia of London was equivalent to the NYC cosa nostra families. The Jamaican Yardies were dealing crack and also dabbled into nightclub security racket. There were bunch of other gangs too, like Pakistani gangs, Albanian Mafia, Chinese Triads, Tamil and Bengali gangs along with the old school English and Irish Gangsters. London would really make a great setting and I think a game in London would be much grounded just like IV.

Reason for choosing Vice City is same as everbody else.

GTA is staying in America, enough of these posts about Dubai and sh*t ffs.

Easier to do American locations with streets layout, culture, research

Coming in 2020 *R games presents from sunny beaches of Florida to Latin favor of South America

Don't forget about Las Venturas!

So... To sound more Ideal

From to fantastic strip of Las Venturas, to the sunny beaches of Vice City and to the Latin favor of Havana (Cuba).

Why would we travel from the West Coast's Las Venturas, San Andreas to Vice City on the East Coast? Vice to Habana makes sense, sure, but Vice to Venturas? Over 2500 miles real world? I don't see that happening.

Personally I'd rather just Venturas and the surrounding Desert with Bone County. Hell, maybe instead of an endless Ocean R* could do an endless desert where you're car will eventually just lose power like the boats and planes in V.

If R* pushed Las Venturas into Gta San Andreas last minute, to make the world record budget.

They're most likely going to push Las Venturas again alongside Vice City this time, instead of the California State.

We all know realistically only Algonquin and Liberty can make it into 1 game.

San Andreas wasn't realistic including Las Venturas, but R* sended it anyways and hopefully will do again to reach surpress their world record budget.

Las Vegas is less than half an hour from the California state line. San Andreas was not a single city game, it was a state wide game, covering three distinct cities that are a long enough distance away from each other for airlines to use large scale 737 style aircraft to travel between. If we're going by distance from the starting city of LS, you could even argue that San Fierro doesn't make sense, as it's farther away from LA than Las Vegas by almost a hundred miles! Las Venturas makes complete sense in the GTA world's state of San Andreas. There is, however, simply no way that beachy, swampy Vice City is at all within reasonable driving distance of the southwestern style desert city of Las Venturas. That makes absolutely zero sense.

Also I have no idea what you meant by that Algonquin, Liberty thing. Did you mean Alderney City? Because Queens (Algonquin) is a borough of NYC (Liberty). Alderney however is based on another city, predominately Newark. A half hour from NYC, depending on that classic traffic. Honestly that's more realistic than the Salton Sea expy showing up in V.

Oh yeah Alderney, lmao.

But anyways, Los Santos to Las Venturas didn't take any driving distance.

They just spontaneously made a bridge that connected Southern San Andreas to Las Venturas.

They may spontaneously place Las Venturas above Vice City this time, like how they did with San Andreas formerly. The easiest way to make a bridge between them is by connecting Miami's Interstate 95 with Vegas's Interstate 15.

I would like to see present-day Washington, D.C. and the surrounding suburbs.

Alternatively I'd like 1980s Liberty City, or just a new setting altogether.

GTA Plus Enjoyer

Redesigned Vice City with a rural area, mountain area, hidden islands, desert area, big, deep forests where you could get lost, and a nice natural environment in general. (similar to GTA:SA)

I think we will see an adaptation of Southern Florida containing Miami / Vice City, some countryside/nature and a few more medium-size cities (maybe based on Orlando and/or Tampa?) and towns. We will definitely see a huge stretch of coastline containing Miami and it's surrounding sphere and most likely the Florida Keys and Everglades. I also think we will have some missions that are based in Cuba. Not sure if Cuba is going to be in a playable area, but i'm leaning towards yes. (It's definitely more realistic and likely than Las Venturas showing up in the same game) It might be an interesting and surprising take, and i think the rumour about South-America is actually about Cuba (Havana). The protagonist might be a Cuban as well. Release probably in 2022 and 2023. GTA Online might contain Los Santos and Liberty City.

The problem with that is that Washington might be a bit hard to do, since a big landmark of Washington is the White House, and i think that might Rockstar give some trouble. Also, Washington in general isn't an interesting city, in comparison with San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York City and Miami.

I also want them to focus on quality. I don't need a map of the entire United States, because that's would simply mean less quality. I rather want them to focus their resources on making a diverse and detailed region (preferrable a large-sized city and a medium-size city, because GTA V lacked the latter one), and more interiors, and making a fun, great and large storyline. A map of the entire United States would be ludicrous and would mean a large map with nothing to do on it, lack of detail and repeat of building styles. That wil easily become boring really quickly.

Cuba + South Florida is what i'm hoping for, and even that might turn out to be unrealistic.

I think they will redo Liberty City or visit San Fierro in GTA 7.

Id like to see a new location like Houston Texas or New Orleans

Those aren't new location since the cowboy version of GTA called RDR and RDR2 takes place on both locations

I hope its Miami, London doesnt appeal to me at all even though im british, i just think we need a ViceCity in HD then we can move on and base the game wherever the hell they want.

Saying that though if the games anything like GTA5 it wont mattwer where it is based cause it will be sh*t

Viceportcoke

Vice city would be a great location but adding fort Lauderdale which is the yacht capital of the world and has the largest boat show. And also love the idea of adding south america into it so they can add the cocaine trade. So the idea of flying and traveling with boats to do coke trafficking is endless, so having boat collection would be just as important as having a car collection sense fort Lauderdale and Miami is known to be the Venice of america

It won't be in Vice City and I will tell you why. R* have said themselves that VC had that 80's feel to it and revisiting it would not be the best idea. They said that they do not plan to visit vice city also because the atmosphere would be different. They answered this in a Q&A. You should be able to find it.

They won't revisit Vice City in the 80's, but they also revisit Los Santos and it also has a completely different atmosphere than it did have in GTA: SA. Vice City will obviously be a completely different city in HD era than it was in GTA: VC. The city will be much bigger, the story will be brand new and completely different, and i think a GTA VI set in Vice City might even feel more like GTA V than it would feel like GTA VC. GTA V also really had a different atmosphere than SA, but did it ruin the experience of nostalghia of SA. Obviously not.

It will almost certainly be VC.

SF is been done by Watch Dogs

Las Venturas just doesn't feel that big and only has desert around it. It just doesn't feel like it will ever be again a city in GTA or at least not if they didn't went with the multiple cities route.

Liberty City will also be redone at some point in the future since NYC is obviously very large, and GTA IV is been done in 2008 (almost ten years ago), though they did LC very well, and i think they will save it for GTA7 or 8.

BTW a quick suggestion:

So, in GTA V when you'd go far out in the ocean your vehicles would stop working, and in GTA SA it was just unlimited sea.

GTA VI should do it like that, but with deep forests with lots of trees, making it hard to drive, and/or deserts with lots of big desert rocks (similar to Far Cry 2) =>

If you drove far far out in the forest, a bear could spawn that would chase you and kill you (he'd be way faster of course). Driving cars trough the forest would be impossible because there would be lots of trees. Air vehicles would stop working and you would fall down.

In the desert, you could be chased by a wild animal if you were on foot, or you could get stuck in quicksand. If in a vehicle of any type, it would stop working and smoke would come out of the engine because of the heat in the desert.

Just imagine the possibilities if they made a beautiful detailed forest with rivers and such, easter eggs, cabins to explore, etc.

Would be dope, eh?

Don't make assumptions. GTA VI will most likely revisit Vice City. Just because GTA VI will be set in Miami, doesn't mean they won't revisit Vice City in the 80s.

I just want to see all the Grand Theft Auto cities combined into one game. That would be much better. Believe me, this is possible to combine all the cities from all the Grand Theft Auto series into one game. Rockstar has proven that its possible with current technology of today.

Maybe all of USA for a future GTA game. Please choose "Multiple cities outside of the United States" in this poll.

I don't think they will go back in time. Los Santos in GTA V was completely different from GTA: San Andreas, just like Liberty City in GTA IV was completely different from GTA III, both in map location and in storyline and also in time. They won't do the same thing twice. Vice City will most likely be modern Vice City.

tbh, if the "Project Americas" rumor is legitimate, I'd be surprised if it wasn't set in the 80s. Why do Miami and Colombia/South America if you aren't gonna go with a 1980s setting?

I'm hoping for Vice City right now. Seeing how they did Liberty City and Los Santos I have high hopes for it. Especially as they are likely to add more areas such as the keys and swampy areas which would be a much welcome addition.

I wouldn't mind seeing London but personally I'm not fond of the capital which is already in alot of media as is. Somewhere like Liverpool would be interesting though. It could also send us to parts of northern Wales aswell as the surrounding English towns and countryside.

Why not? Obviously large cities seem to appeal to the masses the most, LA, New York and Miami people all over the world know, be it from TV (I would add Las Vegas to the list). So Miami is the logical choice (though not my personal favorite), I don't think that the youngsters would appreciate an 80ies setting and they are the key target group. Personally I'd like to see a GTA at the end of 90ies, maybe in Las Vegas and San Fransisco - would time and location fit well?

It was actually the Bens who said Vice City wouldn't work without the 80's.
