She said we can travel between America (hopefully Vice City & Las Venturas) and South America (Hopefully Cuba) during the main story, so that can only leave San Fierro as the prologue. She also said the protagonists havn't been decided, if they're going to do a 3 male dominated protags again or include a kickass female protag for the 1st time ever (hopefully). I personnelly will like to play as Lazlow, a hot Cuban-American female actress and a black UK hooligan/UptownRider.

GTA history with female character is....

 

I mean, sure why not having a female protagonist, let's say, a biker gang member like TLAD Ashley. The problem is, their in game model and 2D artwork for female character is like awfully different. 2D art of Joni from TBOGT is heaven and hell when compared to the 3D model.

 

Amanda, Tracey from V and Karen from GTAO are good looking, but the Online characters are horrible. I'm not expecting the female character to look like Ashley Jenkins or Amanda, Tracey, or Karen. But what I'm afraid is that she will be designed like what I see mostly in GTAO..... Tattoo-wrapped blob fish with awful fashion and hair.

Map #2 will contain South America Brazilian city of Rio De Janerio, Sao Paulo, Medellin Colombia etc

If the information about Vice City is true, then I would like to see some other Florida cities. For example, Orlando or Tampa. Maybe even part of Georgia...

 

But I would not like to see the next game of the series in Vice City. I prefer Philadelphia or Boston-like cities.

I would like to see Vice City in the HD era. We know VC is kinda small for a HD game, but Rockstar can extend it right? Just like GTA IV, they made LC more bigger. And V, well, they compressed it, but with better look that fits the HD universe. And if Vice City is going to eb the next, I hope Rockstar add some Easter Eggs or cameos from Tommy Vercetti or Vic Vance. The thing I'm worrying is about the year of the game. For me, I would like to see VC in an old setting. But I guess Rockstar will make it look modern with new phones, cars, weapons, etc.

 

PS: I hope they add some Radio Stations with 80's songs from the previous Vice City games!

I asked an important question to a R North leaker yesterday and got two answers. First question and answer was how large and wide is the Vice City metropolis compared to Los Santos area in GTA V. The answer came out as quite larger since Vice City consists of elements of two ciites: Miami and Orlando. This,case in point, makes a megacity. Only Rockstar could pull off such a feat and keep all areas of city interesting,diverse, and full of detail.

 

Second question was when to expect unveil trailer since Red Dead Redemption 2 was delayed to October this year. He/she stated that R North is thinking a few months after RDR2 launch;right where my speculation has been ascertained.

 

I wanted to share this could be credible news with the others. I feel this is important and vital to future discussions map related and inquiries of location details.

Map with Toronto, Hamilton, and Buffalo (Which makes the Drake loading screens even funnier)

 

or

 

Map with Detroit and Windsor (How can they not put in Windsor if they do Detroit)

I would like a GTA in the Great Lakes region with all great lake cities scaled down but made authentic.

 

Detroit-Windsor area to the West.

Cleveland-Columbus area to the South with Akron and MAYBE JUST MAYBE Columbus.

Toronto-Mississauga-Hamilton-Buffalo area to the East. with a parody of Niagara Falls.

 

And finally for the countryside of the map that will be in the North as areas like London, Chatham-Kent, and Kitchener.

 

Either that or a GTA set in Pittsburgh and its suburbs with the Allegheny Forest.

London or Vice City both set in 80's. That would be great. London in 80's was home to many ethnically diverse gangs, like the Indian gangs which were intially formed to protect the community from rascist attacks, transformed into violent criminal organisation who then started to compete with the Iranians over the herion trade. Turkish mafia is still a big threat in London. It was said that Turkish Mafia of London was equivalent to the NYC cosa nostra families. The Jamaican Yardies were dealing crack and also dabbled into nightclub security racket. There were bunch of other gangs too, like Pakistani gangs, Albanian Mafia, Chinese Triads, Tamil and Bengali gangs along with the old school English and Irish Gangsters. London would really make a great setting and I think a game in London would be much grounded just like IV.

Reason for choosing Vice City is same as everbody else.

Why do yall want a HD Universe with Vice City in the 80s?

Do you know R* will have to kill everything Tommy ever done, cause he doesn't exist in the HD Universe?

Cj barely existed in the HD Universe and Johnny Klebbits... Well lets say at least his in a better place now, but Tommy won't be cause he never existed

Tommy created our 80s Vice City fantasy, so lets not dethrone his Kingpin in the 80s like Victor Vance and Johnny's presidential status in Gta 5.

It had an atmosphere to it that just feels cool, I personally dont get that same feeling playing in a modern setting. It would be the same if they did a 70s in (insert city name here)

It would have a vibe to it.

Walking down the strip by the beach at disk with the neons, people walking around in pastel colors and a car driving by blasting hits from the 80s.

 

But Im bias, my favorite show is miami vice lol

Why would we travel from the West Coast's Las Venturas, San Andreas to Vice City on the East Coast? Vice to Habana makes sense, sure, but Vice to Venturas? Over 2500 miles real world? I don't see that happening.

 

Personally I'd rather just Venturas and the surrounding Desert with Bone County. Hell, maybe instead of an endless Ocean R* could do an endless desert where you're car will eventually just lose power like the boats and planes in V.
