Well to start, the "fanbase" is nothing but 3 things, 20 something year old college girls who think they're they know sh*t about cars because they drive a Jetta, 20 something year old douchebags who think they're hot sh*t and some how better than those who drive JDMs, and 30 year old black dudes who are trying to be "hip". The cars themselves are nothing but cheapass versions of Audis and do nothing but break down in some way or another before you've even had it a year. To top it off, they're really not even German cars anymore, seeing how majority of their parts are designed by Italians in Italy and then they're assembled in Mexico. VW are just sh*t.

Well all I can is in my experience, I've helped too many friends with theirs. sh*t my ex's sister had just bought a 2012 Jetta when they first came out, she traded in 6 months later because she was already replacing parts..

Well all I can is in my experience, I've helped too many friends with theirs. sh*t my ex's sister had just bought a 2012 Jetta when they first came out, she traded in 6 months later because she was already replacing parts..

 

My family loves them hence why when they move onto another car, it's usually just a newer model of the one they traded in. My uncle recently moved to a newer Passat from an older one. I really want a GTI one day, but, "I'm a 20 something year-old college girl who thinks she knows sh*t about cars."

Only a fool would buy an A3 over a Golf. A golf ALWAYS drives better than its A3 equivilent, due to Audi's obsession with springing their cars stiffer than a schoolboy in a sex shop.

VW definitely lost their way with the mk 3 and 4 golfs, but have been on a stormer since the mk 5.

I'm fairly new to the whole concept of internet forums for games. I was just wondering why so many people here feel the need to complain about anything and everything (yes, I realise I've joined in with a bit of a moan too) and take this game so seriously.

 

The taste police are back in force. I drive a silver VW Golf in real life. So in a GAME (game being the key word here people), instead of driving a silver thing, I'm going all out on cars with bright stupid colours. Weird combinations, the lot.

 

Sometimes I wear a suit and drive a racing green Stinger with a silenced pistol. Other times I drive a bright purple and yellow Zentorno with bright green rims with a gold silenced shotgun that makes no sense in just a pair of running shorts. Something I'd never do in real life but quite funny in a fake cartoon world of pixels that means nothing.

 

People moan about being killed, moan about their pv being destroyed, moan about anything that slightly annoys them (again, I realise the irony of moaning myself).

 

A lot of people treat this like a job with a real economy. There is no economy.

It's a jumped up arcade game. It has always been that way. People moan about what the NPC's are saying, the crazy drivers etc. It's satire, it's what every GTA has been about.

If a lot of fellow forumers relax, take a breath and play the game as a game where almost anything is possible then everyone will have a better experience and there will be less moaning and flaming of Rockstar and less of these types of threads on here.

 

I'm off to annoy the taste police in my sh*tty cars, bye!

 

 

 

 

Dunno if you're new to forums, or just this one...but here it goes.

 

Most if not all of internet forums are bitching and moaning fests. That's the nature of forum culture.

 

If you have a gathering place of opinions, you're going to have clashing about whatever. So what? If you want to have a place where everyone agrees, you'll need to create your own website and ban all opinions contrary to yours.

 

As for the rest, you live a hum drum existence in the real world thus you like to attention whore it up in the game. Once again, So what? Your tastes are your tastes, and obviously Rockstar provided a rainbow of colors for people to floss what they've acquired. Do you and don't worry about the folks that only a mono-colored garage (all black, white, red vehicles) complaints about your tastes. You paid $60 like everyone else and can paint your cars whatever clown colors you'd like.

It will make your brain hurt arguing with some of the people on here. It's really not worth it for the most part to argue. As others have said this is a place mainly for entertainment and every once in a while it can be helpful or have some new information you may not have known about. ENJOY!
