Everytime I switch on GTA I drive around, get bored and switch off because it is more of the same. I only switched on today to see if my 10-car garage had been raped by the big metal thingy but it was normal. Modders make it fun like that other thread with wind turbine hats. That's what I want, not just meh same as usual.

as a modder myself i am disgusted to see what has happened with the community theres a supposed "rape" mod that only chromexmods has access too it has been making headlines

 

what worries me is that this will make rockstar games as hateful on modding as they were after hot coffe this is getting beyond pathetic he is a "talented" modder yet he tries so hard to get the approval from those bloodsucking youtube commentators

 

now he has become one of them

 

my biggest worry is that rockstar games will get a new view on modding as a whole because of these kids

 

it seems rockstar games has been turning a blindeye to money hacking etc they seem to be with these big youtube commentators but i wounder what happens when they get problems for this

 

My issue is this, if you are a talented modder... Why the f*ck are you not focusing on graphics mods, & working on content which actually improves gameplay or whatever, instead of releasing f*cking numnuts content which f*cks with people and ruins their game.

 

When I see the rare modders who create something brilliant, I fully respect it & support it.

 

But if you are a c*nt like Chrome Modz who releases essentially the biggest way to troll people online, to other sh*thead modders, so that the situation we currently have is players being ass-raped every god damn game, it tarnishes the entire modding community & gives us more ammunition to fire at you guys.

 

I seriously wish Anonymous was mainly filled with hackers who are also gamers & love the gaming industry, that way they might actually get rid of people who f*ck it up, while also exposing pedos & corrupt governments and all that other sh*t they do.

I find funny when Chrome trolls a R* livestream, it shows them their game has much flaws that needs to be fixed, but I don't find funny when he trolls random people's livestreams, they have nothing to do with the game development.

 

At start, it was funny against R* devs, but it was getting annoying with time by trolling random people that has nothing to do with him and then he's done a partnership with these GTA Online PEDOTUBERS. I was thinking myself about in a near future a modder griefing me through sessions when the master race version of the game releases :S

This game was better in the beginning when everyone had to work for their money.

The mods I guess are a way to continue playing GTA and be entertained.

 

Though I disagree on using the mods against other players. I find it somewhat unfair. A few kills is ok, but somehow allot of modders abuse and troll other players, like using the "Rape mod".

 

Although, I do like the mods and trainers. Today modders were in my session. They killed us a few times, but not repetitively, and I have to say the mods are amusing and fun to play with. I got to drive a invisible car. Whoo

 

Though I disagree on modders be mad for being reported. What they're doing is against the rules and they take the risk while going in a public session. I hate it when people use God Mode and kill me repetitively. It ruins the fun and I get tempted to report them too.

 

So in brief... use the mods to everyone's advantage... not just yours

Modders think they're so talented b/c they take others work, alter it, and call it their work.

If a modder wants to be a badass, why not get a job making games, instead of (usually) pissing off others who want to play a game or (rarely) contributing to the fun factor of others.

 

What makes a PC modder any different than a console modder?

 

PC modders often mod for the sake of fun, not for the sake of f*cking the game up the ass as hard as possible, just to annoy others or to harm the general balance of the game world. I do not mean to generalize, but in GTA:O's specific case, the general use of mods seems to be to gain unfair advantages and use them against others. That's from my personal experience of watching videos and (very rarely) participating in public lobbies.

 

There are cheaters on PC, of course. But in competitive play, they mostly use aimbots, wallhacks and similar enhancements that are very easy to differentiate from regular PC mods. This doesn't seem to be the case on console, as "mods" seem to classify as cheating and everything in-between, with no unique property differentiating actual fun-based, non-malicious mods from hacks and cheats designed to give an unfair advantage.

 

Also, console modding is not officially supported by any one developer. There are many games and developers on PC that strongly encourage modding as a means of helping the game's life cycle. Things like the Steam Workshop come to mind...

Modders are talented because they take the work of others given to them, alter it in a creative and personal way, and then enable it to the public free of charge for all to enjoy. This is how certain games came to fruition. Games that have defined genres were made possible by some guy's interest in modding (Counter-Strike is a good example).

 

If a modder wants to be a badass, why not get a job making games, instead of (usually) pissing off others who want to play a game or (rarely) contributing to the fun factor of others.

 

You cannot generalize modders in such a way. There are different sorts. Some want to use their mods in the privacy of their own, private game, perhaps with friends. Some are out to get ruin other people's enjoyment of the game. There are so many types of people to consider, painting them all with the same brush simply is not fair.

 

That was the most well thought out response I have yet to see on these boards, and in the words of James Carville, 'we have no response, that was perfect'.

on pc it will be different the true modders like sjaak will spit on everything that is gta 5 console "mods" they are very simple "mods"

 

pc is another league entirely it's like going from a kindergarten playground too adulthood they will be crushed by the adult world so to say they have it easy now well thats about to change

because gta online is its own game. gta 4 just had a freestyle multiplayer. nothing to buy, no missions, no custom characters. the only thing you could do was kill each other or screw around in free mode.
