I was a man long before I started playing GTA:O. It has nothing to do with levels, it comes with accepting the responsibilities of being a man.

 

Curiously though, in the game I've become a woman.

Most players gain enough skill to be called a "man" when they reach level 25, that's around the time you unlock higher paying missions, better guns and sticky bombs. I've never seen a level 100+ use a rpg or minigun against me.

Any level that doesn't use face paint and/or a mask.

You become a man at level 75, because you can now host Rooftop Rumble on your own and have no need to sponge off anyone else. You can stand on your own two feet and make your own living, congratulations, you are now the bread-winner.

 

Until level 76 when you're bored sh*tless of RR and resort to either cash cards or glitching

If you created a woman character I don't think there is a certain level when you suddenly become a man. You are stuck with whatever gender you chose unless you delete the character or create a new one.

This comment gives me flashbacks to the days when the Tank was actually useful for well, anything. I have not seen a single tank in GTA Online in the last 8 weeks or so and would not recommend anyone purchases it or considers it to be a sign of achievement (unlocking it that is) in the game.

But when the question will be redifined in at what level you become a high-level player I'll say around level 80, because at that point you've unlocked all missions.
