It's not a question of whether you've seen one or not. It's a question of do they exist. I've never met a terrorist that I'm aware of but I have seen the effects of their existence and just because I haven't seen one doesn't mean I won't support people doing something against them. The idea that you judge on sight alone is very naive stance.

 

The effects have been that everyone's money was reset in the last modder cycle. So it didn't matter if you had millions or not, you came back with $500,000. I don't think that's a small effect and I don't think R* made it up to appease themselves. That created Adder bonds as well as a rash of other reactions that people didn't feel it was "fair" the ramifications of it may never be fully realized.

 

Not to mention Godmode which I have personally witnessed while in TDMs. In fact, these hackers are the reason I stick to Invite only sessions and play mostly with my Crew only. I've been beaten by NOS Sultans and witness the lie that perpetrate so much that I don't trust anyone who is faster than me now. Just yesterday I was super slow and once the "constant winner" left I suddenly had first place over and over. I try not to pass judgement, but sometimes it's difficult. I have chosen to just strive to be a better player.

 

What I do have a problem with is that people say "hackers" or "glitchers" are bad yet their character picture is them wearing a mask and glasses. Obviously it's okay for them to hack, but not for someone else because it's "harmless" when they do it.

 

And don't surmise that's me judging you either. I hold you to the standards by which you hold others and dismiss your opinion if that holds true.

I literally just played with a modder. He was raping a couple of 6 year olds that were getting mad at me for killing them and I recorded the whole session when he spawned everyone to a room for to get f*cked. Nonetheless, that ticket is now closed.

Seen a modder once. Turned out to be friendly. He even modified someones Surfer lol.

Was this last night? I got into a free aim lobby and someone had a modded surfer and there was a modder in the lobby.

If you play Freetown and don't see a modder you probably never seen the sentinel man either. Ie your powers of observation suck.

 

There's a modder in every lobby, sometimes you need to piss them off before they turn god mode on or do something to you though. I hardly ever play in public freeroam, maybe two hours a week?. I've been in a z type flat out on the freway chased by a guy on foot that was shooting jet rounds from his gun, he caught up too.. I've been in a UFO, I've been turned invisible. I've been held up and tazzed. I've seen a guy get high pressure water attached to his body and bounce off walls and buildings all the way down the street like an out of control jetpack. I've seen a mountain lion snipe a cargobob. I've been attacked by monkeys. Sniped by sky snipers. Seen numourous (maybe 50 guys that were in god mode). All this andi haven't played in weeks. Not to mention when I last did play I ran into about 50 meteors per day.

 

I'm sure that was Sentinel Guy.

Even modders that think they are doing good by customizing cars for other players are still having a negative effect on the game even if they do not realise it. R* aren't differentiating between good and bad modders, a modder is a modder and R* is wasting precious time on stopping them that could instead be used to expand GTA:O.

Yeah I seen a lot of modders since October. My first one was back in April. That guy was like a Super Human with double the speed. The one I met in May basically made fourth of July with my arse and then killed me. Last 2 was last night when they started to make everyone dance and then killed everyone at the same time.

Most are on the xbox, xbox is the easiest hackable console. Also, kids tend to prefer the xbox over playstation, means theres more kids.

Xbox overall has more players, which results in more forum users.

 

I havent seen a SINGLE hacker since release.

I tend to agree it's not that bad (even tho I got monkey raped last night for the 1st time). But I also wouldn't be surprised if what LY says is true - you can sense that much from r*'s demeanour & just general consensus. It does seem like the potential has been undermined & the mods/script abusers have played a substantial role in that happening. It's not quite a write-off yet but it does seem to be heading that way..

If you haven't seen them, it doesn't mean that they don't exist. They unbalance the nature, they're disturbing the peace, they play with God's will and they're fuc*ing with the ecosystem.

They deserve to be stripped in a public place and spanked until they scream "No more hacking, I swear with my grandma's old panties".
