Maybe I should say Comet and Alpha are terrible.

Comet because it oversteers like it doesn't have rear tires at all.

 

 

Definitely the Comet. Main reason I sold it in the first place.

 

A thread by Giantsgiants and no picture of one of his cars? Wow!

 

To answer the topic I gotta say the Comet. It's a cool car and fun to drive but it doesn't come close to the performance of the better cars in the class.

 

Comet for me. The wheels are made of ice lol

The worst performing Sport Class car is the Penumbra. I'm amazed they even classed it as a Sport because it belongs in Compact it's so slow.

Futo and Buffalo are good second place cars, but I always get an argument when I bring them up.

Comet is a good car it's just many people can't control it (Lesser Drivers) and the same for the Banshee!

 

OT: Alpha but it is a lethal car for cruising w/ friends/crew.

I dunno, I think the two cars that people hate most are honestly the best Sports cars i've bought. I've won over 50 races with the Comet, and the other 50 with the Coquette. If you know how to drive it (which it obviously seems not many people in this thread can), both of those cars can literally demolish the competition. Thing you have to realize about the Comet is that it's Rear Engined/Rear Drive. All of the weight (like a real Porsche) is over the rear wheels, which means if you literally fly into a turn, you're going to go sideways. It's not a car you drive if you can't drive. Same with the Coquette, it's so low you have to plan out your race, before you even race. If you can get it right though, i've beaten Elegy's, Banshee's, & even 9F's. It's not really a case of the car, it's more of a case of the driver. I have another friend who drives a Comet, and he's consistently come in either second or first. In fact, the Comet is a car that I actually drive regularly. When I want to have some fun, drop gears in a Porch.

1) The Banshee; quite simply too sluggish and just hasn't got the accelaration needed to make it a worthy compedator in races.

 

2) It's either the Rapid GT or the Surano (I can't remember which) but the handling is/was just appauling.

 

3) The Carbonizzare - It's a lush car, and has the speed, but what it doesn't have (I've found) is the traction. If you tackle a curb, it'll spin terrible and then it'll spin some more when you try to realign.

 

4) The Elegy (if you need a car with brakes) :p

banshee - same as doingtheimpossible

elegy RH8 - logic ( u can get a japanese high performance sport car for free but u have to pay for pfister comet )

surano - fragile and easier wheel deform

fusilade - not suited for my '' taste '' appearance

futo - fragiler than sultan and only 2 occupant , but compensate for drifting capability

how can people say that the comet is the worst sports car? the comet is a fast car with rear mounted engine ofcourse it is going to slide if you turn in a high speed you guys have to learn how to take the apex.

Is the Shwartzer a premium? I can't remember. If it is, then that is the most underperforming car.

 

I've been competitive with the Banshee, Coquette, Rapid GT, Comet, and the Surano. All can be driven fast, you just have to adapt to the car.

My vote goes for the RH8. (cuz someone is angry for not posting a "sport"...my bad, jeez...)

 

Still needs more giddyup. Also, a more powerful reverse to allow for better J-turns.

Khamelion sucks for racing

I forgot about that car. It is a premium car (on the Social Club, the Khamelion "high-end" box is checked), and I haven't heard too much good things about that car in regards to racing. Haven't seen one used in races either.

 

But then again, I don't have the CE and never driven the car, so I can't really say for myself.

I'd say it's the Carbonizzare. For a $195,000 car it sure does oversteer a lot but other than that it performs great.

 

To me the one thats really not worth the money is the Rapid GT it turns like boat and has an even worse top speed.

The carbo can at least do a decent lap. It's almost as fast as the banshee on most tracks. The rapid GT is no where near those guys, the Comet isnt either but at least it steers. Please anyone saying anything other than the rapid GT... Buy one. It is absolutely terrible. You'll be amazed how bad it is.

that's why i sold my comet, fully upgraded and it slides real easily.

It's still free according to GTA Wiki, but I can't go online and check right now though.
