I've recently started to collect movies and albums. I'm going to have to buy a DVD and CD rack to have somewhere to put them, since the collection is growing a lot.

Beer Bottle Caps

They won't be worth as much as Nuka Cola caps in the future, but it doesn't hurt to try. I also collect beer bottle caps, just in case.

I want to try to get into this, I have 2 Navy Squadron patches, a fire department patch, an old airport employee uniform patch(taken off an old uniform i mean), and some generic navy patches as well as a local zoo event patch, I might try and work a lead to get a local police patch off of a reserve officer who does night security for my building.

I'm not sure what my past responses to this thread are and I'm too lazy to look. I collect lots of stuff. Most of it has no rhyme or reason outside of some 70's toys that I'm passionate about. I also have some valuable horror movie marquee posters.

These were gifted to me today and they fall into the sh*t I'll collect just because I know they usually appreciate in value over time.

All (but 1) of the McDonald's Happy Meal Star Was toys(from the last go around)...sealed in their original bags. For some reason McDonald's Happy Meal toys tend to become 'collectable'.

The pic doesn't really do them justice. Only missing #17

It's a shame we don't have a dedicated thread or section for collectibles and figures, etc, as there's clearly a bunch of people here with some good stuff to show and discuss.

Apart from CDs and DVDs, I'm also collecting posters. Bands, cute creepypastas, movies, Tarantino, etc.

When Canada discontinued their 1 cent penny in 2012, I started collecting them. Today I have an impressive collection of Canadian coins from the 1 cent penny to the 2 dollars coin.

I even have an old 1$ bill from 1973 in perfect condition, never used and it even still has its smell!

25 cent coins: 37

Oldest 5 cent coin: 1962

Oldest 10 cent coin: 1994

Oldest 2$ coin: 1997 (the first edition of the canadian 2$ coin was in 1996)

^ Nice!

My pops and grandfather collect currency, and every once in a while they hand me down something. My two prized pieces are a $1 and $5 bills from the 1950's marked "Silver Payable to the Bearer on Demand", and a 22k gold 1912 King George V coin.

I collect games consoles - anything from the 1970s to present day, but personally I like the older stuff best.

Nothing too obscure due to storage and budget limitations but I now have over two dozen machines including my very first console from when I was a child - a Sega Master System Mk1.

I also have a Sears Tele-Games version of the Atari VCS, an Intellivision Intellivoice module (with three of the five games produced for it) and a European Colecovision (which I call my Eurovision. Get it? ...no? Fine)

None of it is really worth anything in terms of money or investment. It's only for my own interest :)

I like to collect model cars. They are mainly 1:18s, but I also have some 1:64s. 300 1:64s are currently stowed away at my granddads house.
I also collect games at Steam (1280 at this point of time)
My granddad also gifted me his stamp collection. I have a whole book full of them

Hot Wheels and model cars. I have thirteen of the 1/32 scale Fast and Furious cars and four of the 1/24 scale Fast and Furious cars plus three other non F&F cars, a Corvette Stingray Concept, a Cadillac Escalade EXT and a General Lee that I got for a birthday present. Every time I got to Wal-Mart or some other store first stop is the Toys to see if they have any new Real Riderz Hot Wheels or to see if they have any F&F cars I don't have. Also I collect knives, because, well, I don't really know.

Video games, a ton of them to be exact. All the way from PS1 to the soon-to-be-replaced-this-year Xbox One. Adding up all of the games I have right now, I'd say about 100-200, somewhere around there. Yeah, I'm a lazy guy.

Looking at my Steam library, I apparently also collect games I'm never going to play, just because they were cheap on sale.

I wish I kept every single game I bought from when I had my old Atari 2200 up until now. Would be in the 1000s easily I think. I had about 100 games just on my PS2.

Jeepers. I had no idea this thread was as old as it is.

This was gifted to me today. Not in the best shape. If I had to grade it I would guess it is 'fair'.

1985 Playboy. The last issue with the staple in the centerfold. Plus naked 1985 Madonna.

RSVl8HQ.jpg

Just too bad it isn't still sealed. My sealed Marge Simpson edition brings a higher price.
