Cool video! Theres more than one use for hydraulics too, get the front of a lowrider on top of another car and bounce = car sex. Bouncing on people too. San andreas low rider mini games, learning how to say some words in mexican. I'm making a petition.

if you're 12 sure.

For those of us who played MCLA, we also used Hyradualics for extra distance with jumps, and jumping over/driving under other cars.

it blows my fcking mind how rockstar thought excluding hyrdaulics/low riders in this game was acceptable. this game is based in southern california for crying out loud, SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA. it's the mecca of the low rider. it's infused in the street culture here, and anyone thinking it's a thing of the past is greatly mistaken. low riding is still just as popular as it's ever been here.

i really hope they excluded it from the previous gen consoles due to hardware or time constraints and that it was implemented for the PC/current console versions.

Eh, same can be said for a lot, just because you follow the silly low rider culture, it seems idiotic and stupid to you and others that Rockstar left it out.

For me, never cared much for much it, but I could say the exact same thing when it comes to ignoring the Desert Rock Scene, the game is based in southern california for crying out loud, SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA, it's the mecca of Stoner and Desert Rock, it's infused with the Salton Sea area, Joshua Tree, Cathedral City, and anyone thinking it's a thing of the past is greatly mistaken.

edit: Just to keep on topic though, the video in the OP is like masterly done, seriously impressive work and great choice of music.

\\\ NO MODS! NO GLITCH!

I hope u guys can share this around. Hydraulics NEED to be brought back NOW!

I just wanted to know how you do to make the cars so lower (like in 0.46 or 0.52) ?

It doesn't go so lower when i go to LSC.

Thank you

MagicNarcosis

I stay on Crenshaw/Jefferson

So I see Lowlow's all the time.

sh*t, even my brother Lowrides.

It really bummed me out that this wasn't apart of Los Santos lifestyle, as it is still apart of real LA living, down here.

How you have LA and NO HYDRAULICS?

That's like having NY and no countdown during New Years..

Edit**

This video was very well made and honestly my favorite post of all the "concepts"

This sh*t was dope. I only wish it were real!

Great video! I'm not a fan of hydraulics (spend money to screw up camera control and to lose my car on the next corner? No thanks)

I'm in, as long that they are optional and can be removed in LSC.

your snide responses are completely unnecessary and make you come off as a complete jackass. chill the fck out, dude.

now just in case you didn't notice, a good portion of gta v's narrative borrorows largely from los angeles urban life/street gang culture. franklin's story and related characters are completely infused with it. everything from the slang and accent, to the mannerisms and the music are accurate represenations of the urban culture that can be found in modern day los angeles.

now granted the game is based in modern times, in an era that's vastly different from the los angeles of 1992, which is what san andreas was based on, and the "street gang" element isn't as prevalent nor as big as it was then, however it's still very much present and rockstar's conceptual team nailed it for the most part.

hell, even the main theme song for the game (Welcome To Los Santos) pays homage to this - the synthesized chords and bass are a signature sound from the 1990's california gangster rap era. so you tell me, which has a greater influence in the los santos world of gta? socal gang/urban theme or "desert rock scene" theme?

why am i bringing this up? well, mainly because one of the primary elements in the urban culture of los angeles is centered around the car culture, and low-riders are the most popular by far.

the "desert rock scene" or rockers are not a central theme in the los santos/san andreas world and never have been, so why would anyone expect those things to be there as much as the gang/low-rider culture? gangs and "ghetto" los angeles, while not central in GTA V, are definitely much, much more present in the game and rightfully so since los angeles is largely known for it's gang and car culture.

again, the west coast "street gangster" theme isn't as prevalent as it was in san andreas, and understandably so since times are different, but a large part of the game still revolves around it.

all i'm saying is this isn't about preference, or what i care about or what you care about. ultimately it's about rockstar's conceptual and lead designers missing a seemingly trival, yet important element of a culture that they so accurately presented otherwise, that element being low-rider cars. and missing this is akin to missing motorcycles in story centralized around the biker club culture. imagine the lost and the damned without the motorcycles.

low-rider cars and gangs, ( low-riders in general) in los angeles go hand in hand, they should have included them. they're like a peanut butter and jelly combo. and if you aren't from the region or privy to this type information, then i suggest watching the sunday driver doc as it perfectly outlines and supports what i'm talking about here.

the fact that you called it silly only serves to show that YOU don't care for it, but once again, this isn't about personal preferences or opinions, it's about game developer conceptual teams fully capturing the identity of a world they're trying to emulate in their projects.

rockstar are masters of bringing the vibe and culutral elements of any era to their games in a historically accurate manner, they can do it like nobody else can. that's why it's disappointing to see that they missed such a small, yet improtant detail. they did it perfectly in gta san andreas, it was absolutely spot on.

and for those assuming their absence is because said games are based in different era's, i'll have you know that cars/low-riders are still majorly popular here. gang affiliated or not, it's just part of the culture. and since rockstar focuses large parts of their stories in the san andreas/los santos world around real world gangs/los angeles urban culture, they should have included them.

The only way hydraulics would work is if they were exclusive to certain vehicles because lets face it, do you know how douchebaggish a bouncing adder or a hopping zentorno would look like?
