Why I shoot people? Simple. They shot at me first. If the person is a harmless hamster like you then I won`t even do as much as sneeze at them.

9/10 TIMEs I wouldnt shoot someone in that situation. Sometimes I enter a lobby and my goal is to kill everyone in said lobby regardless of if their afk, in passive, trying to be friendly, glitch idc if im in the mood im coming for you.

 

I do the same when im looking for randoms to be friendly with but I go in knowing there is a good chance il be killed.

Isn't the "Salute" animation still the way of saying you're friendly? Walking in the direction of someone while waving your hands isn't a very trustworthy gesture, at least in my opinion. I don't think most players would take too kindly to someone approaching them while wearing an FIB jacket, either.

But no matter what you do, there will still be aggressive players who have that "kill everyone" mentality from GTA IV's multiplayer (load up with weapons and ammo, get a nice car and do some drive-bys), so I wouldn't be surprised if you get shot at a lot of the time.

Don't do the surrender action. To many people it's showing hostility, you challenge them and say "pop a bullet in my head". "I surrender" is not the only meaning this action can have.

 

I don't always (but mostly) shoot on sight, depends on different things, but if I shoot then because I'm in the mood to. 50/50 chance I won't shoot at you when you're a noob. Noob friends are fun when you're a high rank. It's fun to show them stuff and do stuff with them, but it's also fun to troll them.

i've been trying to be friendly with people since I read this thread yesterday.....Yeah that's not gonna happen again.

 

Every single person I walked up to and saluted, or pretty much did anything to, shot me. I didn't meet one friendly random at all yesterday. A lot of times I do but I didn't this day.

 

This is why I just shoot everyone I see. It's just easier. If I want to be buddies with someone I'll just hit up a friend or crew mate.

I left two crews so far because of the cheap, immature behaviour of the leaders & members. Over time I've gradually descended into that type of carryon.

A lot of the time however I don't shoot first, but it's rare that encounter ends on a friendly note..

If this community were a representation of reality, mobsters and most other real-life criminals could not exist in freeroam conditions (aside from being a serial killer).

 

It'd be like every potential mobster just meeting up and shooting eachother on sight.

 

Reading through this thread I wonder just how in the hell anyone expects to pull off any heists. It's hard enough keeping randoms together for more than 2 f^cking minutes

Problem with doing this is real life is there's no re-spawning...That's why it doesn't happen but I bet they would if they could.
