Why do you shoot people?

This is an honest question. I walk up to you (Probably not specifically you, but you get the idea), unarmed, and I even do the surrender motion, and you shoot the sh*t out of me. Why? Nobody really cares that much about the kill death ratio, I'm unarmed, I'm showing that I won't attack you... and you shoot the sh*t out of me. It takes no skill to kill me like this, I'm walking at a normal speed... and you shoot the sh*t out of me. Why?

Well I'm nice in game. But I can see why others do it - it's a free kill - and if you're not interested in the other players feelings or playing with them then there isn't any motivation not to.

I think that's what it comes down to.

My reason is, that when I give people a chance, and don’t shoot, I get killed myself.

I used to always give people a chance, as you can go have some good impromptu fun temporarily teaming up with a random unknown (and I have).

Though, now I am sick of just getting shot in the back etc.

I didnt shoot another player today that spawned right next me, and guess what, he stabbed me in the head before I could do anything, that is why we shoot first.

 

 

Yesterday , had a player following me, I turned into a parking lot/alley way, got out, pulled out my RPG and aimed at him as he was coming down the alley, he seen me, and backed out and left the area

Free-roam takes forever, but play races and jobs with friends. I grinded my ass to lvl 100 and now i'm lvl 186 just by playing the game for funwith my peeps without caring about money or rp

In that situation I wouldn't shoot you but if you weren't unarmed and doing a surrender action I probably would cuz I would assume you wanted to shoot me.

I used to try to be nice a lot of the time (even now I do occasionally) but more often than not ended up getting killed.

Yeah, that's what I'm doing, but it still feels like it takes forever.. Though R* trolled me once, I got to level 70 or something and it said "Weapon Unlock: RPG" so "yay" go to Ammunation.. weapon locked.. totally got trolled.

I would rather die in Freeroam by someone that came at me guns blazing than someone that came to me unarmed and "friendly" just to be killed in the back seconds later. I learned way back in October don't trust anyone
