GTA Online Premuim Membership Idea

No. Simply because the PS3 version of GTAO is too unpolished to warrant me spending additional money for a few more options. I will be moving to the PS4 soon and that already incurs a fee for online capabilities, so I'm not going to spend additional money on a Premium Membership after spending money on the game as well as PSN.

Although for me in this case, with how I play I generally like a cash top up occasionally, so I may buy the occasional cash card - however this is even less fulfilling than completing a glitch - so I'd rather give R* a little cash on a regular basis for a multiplier - that way they get their cash money, and I can earn money the old fashioned way but without requiring me to grind one mission 50 times.

If things would have turned out diff with the online on this game. i could see the light of this idea. But R* have done very poor not with the game but they way they address the public and how to deal with problems so. I would have to give you a big fat f*cking no, they can keep there paws off my wallet till they fix the game

Not always. The price doesn't mean it's going to be quality. What it means is that you are getting ripped off. You could pay 500$ for a toaster and I'll garantee you that it won't make better toasts than the 50$ one.

No, no, no, no, no, a million times over no. Horrible idea to implement a "premium" type membership. The ideas you have as far as perks to said membership are good and they should be implemented into the game ASAP.

I like the idea, but the ideas highlighted are stupid and just not good ideas. Idea number four on the Membership Perks is absurd because people would pay just to call Rockstar to say idiotic things to them, not to mention the idiot kids that would clog the phone lines. Plus, if we are talking Rockstar North (Located in Scotland) here, the long distance charges would be expensive. The last idea on the Membership Perks does not fit in well with the game, as it would make missions even more pointless than they already are.

Yeah this is a great idea i mean its not Like Rockstar delays/cut content and remade the same game for new-gen consoles. I'd totally trust them enough to give them the same amount of money i spend buying this *prototype game* for a Premium Membership but i think i have a better idea, why don't we just have all the players wear bras and tin foil hats

Despite I'm ready to pay for something in GTA:O, this is not what I'm going to pay for.

I can't give a flying f*ck about weather change and I won't pay for the features that were available for free in GTA IV.

RP and $ multiplier + ability to host dedicated server.

 

But you know what? PC version will fix any of this.

Laughed throughout the entire post, but completely died in giggles when you said "Monthly stipind of RP and GTA $"

 

They're already pushing shark cards, why would they give you even more ways to get money? It'd cost them $$ because if you were to get say, 500k/m with this thing (I know you some of you expect more, but f*ck that), you'd be basically getting a $50 shark card every 7 months that but you'd still have more months till the year is over.

You'd be getting $6mil a year for $50. 6 mil would cost almost the full $100 for the 8 mil shark card.

My vote is no.

Wouldn't pay for sharkcards or anything else thats promotes pay 2 win. Gameplays such as some peoples rp multiplyer suggestions.

 

Things I would pay for.

 

Quality DLC. (Online story campaign coop or things that make the game world progress)

 

Character customisation. (Happily throw out a couple of bucks to redesign my character change gender etc etc.

 

Custom paint jobs. Throw out some cash to spray up my sultan with some of the paint jobs from san andreas wheel arch angels or something.

Add the option to host a new lobby without having to leave online

 

Start > Online > Creator ... Let creator load, then hit Start > Online > Host whatever lobby you like, no going to SP.

This is the kind of mindset I beleive is ruining 'gaming.' The whole "make some things premium so that only few people have it." This is the kind of environment that is creating a rift in this so called "gaming community." It's a video game, it's not even considered a real hobby by a lot of people. What should be concentrated on is making a game run as smooth as possible, with encentives for people to keep playing.

Take a look at the "what rare cars do you own" threads, they show how toxic this whole premium thing really is.

I wouldn't put it past R* bringing out cash cards which boost/quick track rank to open up GTA Online more to newbies or ranking up your other character instead of grinding etc.
