Where Are The GTAO Street Racers At?

Hey guys I'm just wondering if any body else on the forums enjoys doing impromptu races around Los Santos and driving around like a street racer.

I like to drive around free mode in my Fusilade or another sports car driving like something out of fast and furious.. Anybody else does this or atleast do some of this?

I do, but I don't do Impromptu races.

 

Quite often someone notices me and it becomes a mini-game of 'cat and mouse' - they try to keep up with me until they get ahead, then we swap. The number of times this has happened is quite surprising, I get this more often than I get shot at (in car) and it's not on purpose until I see that dot on the map right behind me..

 

Generally for me I just like driving fast whenever I don't feel like doing anything real in game - deathmatch/race etc. Lately I've been using the Asterope (spelling?) because it's really easy to control when you get the ass end out which makes it surprisingly fun to drive.

Everyone kills me before I get close to invite them, I alwaysnfind assholes online. Like when I gave this guy a lift in my car and go to the waypoint for him, he then gets out and kills me after I drove him across the map.

I do this in every lobby i join. I set a waypoint and have the race ready while i cruise around getting close to players and inviting them instantly so they know my intentions. Gotten many fun random races. Even raced my buzzard against a zentorno on the highway. Its really fun racing lots of different classes

 

Everyone should try to do these more. Wish i could bet at least 2grand on the race tho..
