PVs having more durability?

Is it just me or do PVs have more durability? Crash on the front or roof and your car will be fine but crash on the roof or nose of an NPC's car and it will explode.

Uhhh, I guess you've never heard of adding armour to your car.

You dont get the thread. NPC cars seem to have less durability until you make them your PV

Yeah, my Coq sure takes a beating sometimes, but it takes a hard pounding before it blows.

 

If I'm playing around with a NPCs Coq though, it gets all banged up and bent out of shape then prematurely explodes

Nah, my fully armoured Felon GT ever exploded in a race because it fell upside down.

 

I think NPC car have certain details that we don't? When you crash on NPC car, sometimes their wheel breaks off.

Every car explodes when you fall on the roof. It's just a matter of height.

What are you talking about dude? Most if not all vehicles explode when falling on their roof

Nah, my fully armoured Felon GT ever exploded in a race because it fell upside down.

 

I think NPC car have certain details that we don't? When you crash on NPC car, sometimes their wheel breaks off.

I've had the wheel break off with one of my PV's once in a police chase.. not cool as it was 5 star! Dead a second later.

 

But, I'm a safe driver, so it's rare. I've only had my car explode like 10 times in police chases.

That's not always the case. I've been dropped from a cargobob at the max flight ceiling in my Entity XF, which has 80% armor equipped, and landed on the roof. I simply bounced up about 20 ft or so, then proceeded to flip my car over and drive off.

I think armor doesn't apply in races...I've blown up multiple times in a 100% armored Zentorno from small falls, which resulted in either my hood or roof smashing into the ground, or from roll over crashes.

The latest vehicle I got as a PV is a Blista and I didn't put armor on it (all my other cars do) because the idea of having a crash so bad that you have to leave your car there might make car chases more intense. I might remove my car armor for cars that shouldn't have it. Cars in MP will rarely lose a tire if hit hard enough but it happens quite often in SP and I'm not really sure why. It's a nice "feature" to lose a tire.

obviously PV is durable than standard condition of vehicle . PV mostly identified by accessories , paintjobs only found in LSC , diffrent rims and bulletproof , window tints . however , purchaseable vehicle in legendary motor is very easy to identify unless gaining a vehicle that has same visual appearance ( save with armor and bulletproof tires )

 

in rooftop rumble is proven to be scripted the document's car is fragile , as bringing it to SP and shooting it reverts to normal fugitive

however , it also possible that u was lagged which u delayed to see if it's destroyed or u just shoot weak spot
