If we get paid DLC before Heist...

Now on to the point.

 

If they release a paid DLC before Heist or if the Heist update is a paid one, will you purchase it?

 

I won't be purchasing any DLC before they release Heist or Heist itself. If any of the two happens, I'll be selling my GTA V and R* would have lost another customer.

If the paid DLC is anything like the ones we got in GTA IV, I would buy them in an instant.
Seeing how the game is buggy, though, I would assume the DLC is as well and will wait for reviews on the forum first.

Depends, if it actually give useful weapons like probably a Katana,Flamethrower or fun weapons like that and some UNIQUE AND NOT RESKINNED vehicles then probably.

 

But if it's another of those updates with 2 supers and 5 pistols and a reskin of the carbine, lolno.

Those of you who obsess about heists need to calm your tits. Polyphony Digital promised us a GPS course creator with GT6 that still hasn't been released even to this day, and they have done a lot, lot less with GT6 then R* has done with GTA V.

I'd probably throw money at them to see San Fierro return (though I'm not sure how that would work, since I'd like if it were actually connected to Los Santos; they'd have to rework much of the northern part of the map...); I'd probably be willing to consider an expansion like the two they'd had for GTA IV as well. Heists, though? Seeing how they promised those would be included with the game before launch, I'll be very upset if they try to charge for those.

I probably wouldn't be too bothered. Heists are a set of online missions whereas the paid DLC will be like the TBOGT or TLAD and will be worth paying for with the extra vehicles, missions, characters, music etc.

I'm not sure. I have paid for all previous dlc's in red dead and gta iv, but there's just something about V that I'm unsure about. If there was only one protagonist then yes I would. I'm so over the multi protags. If it was a a full blown story add on I may consider but eh...

Conditions to buy it:

• Good content. I'm not paying real sh*t for a bunch of cars and weapons.
• No bugs, or at least one or two that don't affect gameplay at all.
• Reasonable price. I already paid 30€ for EFLC. If they release a EFLS kind of thing for the same price I'm buying it. If not, screw them.
• Better online experience. GTA: Online is pretty poor right now. If the content's good and it's playable online, I'm down for it.

Anyone that is still playing that game who says they will sell/ snap their disc in half if Rockstar would dare to have the audacity to expect to be paid for new content really needs to get over their sense of entitlement

But in the state of the game, I don't think they'd make dlc as good as those.

In general, I only purchase DLC if it's a substantial addition to the game. I'm talking about new maps, an entire new story and characters(e.g. TLaD, BoGT), etc.

 

If it's just a few new missions, weapons, and some limited-edition clothing, I'll pass.
