Am I the only one who thinks that they should add Chicago to the map? And before anyone says anything about Watch Dogs, think about this. Grand Theft Auto III came out right after Deus Ex, both set in New York. And if you're arguing about console limitations, don't. You've been to North Yankton. Sure, it's a larger than that, but it's not as if it's all rendering simultaneously. Anyway, do you want to see Chicago in a Grand Theft Auto game, maybe even in a DLC?

That would be a different game - like Vice City or San Andreas. Building a city takes a lot of time, you can't just pop it together and add it in.

 

I do think that Chicago is a logical candidate though.

What they really should do is go international with it. London, Paris, Rio, Berlin, so many good cities that this could be in with completely different looks. We don't need any more American cities. They just made these online ones New York and LA cause those are the two most popular and well known American cities across the globe

Why would it matter? Just because they don't know the city, doesn't mean Rockstar can't use it?

New and fresh would be my pick. Something different, but I'd prefer it stayed in the US.

 

(I'm not from the US, but you grow up watching US TV and people in US cities - just feels more real even though I'm not from there)

Miami was never online. You don't get these multitudes of French and British people playing Vice City. One of my friends I met in GTAO is from Albania. You think these people wanna see GTA Chicago? There are just so many way better cities across the globe that they could use. Plus it would have a lot of the same features as these cities that have been done to death

I'm from New Zealand and I f'ing loved Vice City.

Much of the world is fed US TV - to the point that when I watch a local drama I think everyone has an accent even though I speak it myself.

 

I'm not voting for GTA Chicago, but I'd rather that than GTA Paris.

Why not Detroit why we're at it?

They could be in the same game, like Liberty City and Alderney.

I agree with the first part, not with the second. I don't mind any more American cities, just not LS, LC, VC, SF, or LV. inb4 all the people who want Vice City in the next GTA come in and start bitching about how everywhere else sucks.

Rockstar has already said that GTA will probably never leave the USA. I they do go to another country it will be with a new IP.

As much as I would like to see Rockstar's take on Chiraq, I'd rather see a European city, or go back to Vice City.
