If it weren't for the daily objectives, I wouldn't rob the stores at all.

Sometimes I wait nearby a store, kill the robber, and leave.

If they give me 3 stars for robbery, I will give the clerk 2 shotgun blasts for the free kill.

Only thing I always make sure to do is shoot right near the clerk after he gives me the money so he runs away. Sometimes once you turn your back those clerks will light you up lol

I stay robbing stores. That 1k-2k every time adds up. Robbing stores pretty much has paid for ALL my weapons and ammo since 2014.

Still doing them over i transfer my cash to second character regularly stores are great for Pegasus and lester funds and avoiding insurance payouts

I prefer the petty crime stuff like stealing / selling cars and robbing stores in GTAO, really happy they included the hold-ups as a freeroam activity from the start. I think GTA games are at their best when you're desperate for cash and doing whatever you can just to get the next weapon or upgrade.

 

I try to string together as many hold-ups as I can... got a route I take that allows me to hit a few stores in quick succession. I try to make 10K in hold-ups before the Police response gets too heavy.

 

I also like to do hold ups with an 'authentic' weapon and disguise too - black balaclava and baggy jacket with hood up with just a normal pistol, or lately the new shotgun. I always try to get cash without any shots fired and no casualties, just collect the cash and back out slowly. 9 times out of 10 it works.

 

If I'm really bored and fancy a bit of roleplaying, I'll steal a car, use it to rob the stores, then torch it somewhere remote. Don't do that last bit as often though

Last time I robbed a store was for one of the awards back on LG. Used a Buzzard to quickly escape cops and get to the next store.
