Store robbery appreciation

My routine:

-Park my car with the door open

-Walk in and aim at the customers

-Aim Pump Shotty at the clerk

-Shoot the bottles to make him speed up

-Grab the cash

-Shoot one last time to trigger the clerk's reaction (Draw a gun or run to the back.)

-If he draws a gun finish him, if he runs away then so do I.

-Maul the occasional 'Hero' outside

-Rinse and repeat

 

I prefer not to kill them since you'll get an extra star.

 

EDIT: The strangest weapon I've used to rob a store is a canister of Tear Gas.

I like the routine of this. I don't like to kill the clerk. Some part of me still links my conscience from real life into the game, even though my intellect (what little I have, anyway) laughs at my naivety.

1 year afther the OP started this topic, are there still any high levels that actually enjoy robbing stores? (possibly on ps3? ). it's one of the things that really keeps me busy in online. it's fun doing it in different ways, as many stores on foot only using a vintage pistol, or a musket.

-Play some contact missions until I have 50k or more

-Go to the nearest store to deposit this money using the ATM, and since I'm there also get a snack refill

-Get out and switch to my store robbery outfit (Black leather jacket, black jeans, black bandana with no hat and different glasses)

-Steal the store for some pocket change

-Rinse and repeat

The clerk pretty much determines his own fate. If he's rude to me even with a gun in his face, then he gets filled with lead. If he tries to pull a gun on me, he gets filled with lead. If I fire multiple shots above his head, and he still refuses to run (how stupid can you get?), he gets filled with lead.

"Oh no! How many times in one month?" -- You tell me. I'm just the robber.

"We have cameras; just so you know." -- Guess who's getting filled with lead after the robbery?

"You should be ashamed of yourself." -- Clerk signs his own death warrant.

 

"Get the h*ll outta here" -- You really want the Molotov, don't you?

 

Oh, and Mr. Clerk, I don't give a rodent's posterior about whether or not you were just about to leave or change shift.

 

Tip 1: I need to verify it, but late evenings may be the best time to rob the stores, seeing as they've had "all day" to make money. We've all heard the store clerks make the occasional comment to the effect of "A whole day's takings" when robbing it...

 

Tip 2: When in a safe place waiting to lose the cops, I always deposit my takings. Passes some of the time, and just good to get into the habit.

This was a pic i took back in October of 2013 to show people the stores I constantly robbed.

I would hit the first two and hide, then hit the third.

In the pic i am pointing to the location of the overpass tunnel you could hide under and the canyon path you could drive back and forth if spotted, to lose your 4 star wanted level.

Then I would reverse the robbery order and drive back to the tunnel, rinse and repeat.

 

Those robberies made me enough supplemental cash to get my Cabrio 9F, yeah #2013goals.
