Store robbery appreciation

If I pass someone robbing a store and I'm in an asshole mood (rare, but it happens), then I'll park my car to block the shop door.

3 stars/2 stars who gives a f*ck? Only difference is the chopper and that's not hard to lose.

If you do chain robbery, one star makes a difference, especially if you're using a heli as getaway. With a helicopter and two stars all you have to do is ascend about 100 feet then wait. Move to the next store quickly. After just a few consecutive robberies police response gets quicker and more aggressive (i.e. you start to accumulate 3 stars per robbery even WITHOUT shooting the clerk).

 

If all you're gonna do is rob one store, sure, shoot the clerk, but robbing just one store is pointless.

Shooting the clerk every time on a chain robbery would probably get you 4 stars by the time you're on your 3rd store, and if you can lose 4 stars in 30 seconds you must be some super awesome based god who gets all the bitches in Ghana.

i really like how after hitting like 3-4 stores in a row, if you evade the cops, the next store you hit its like a setup, its an insta 4 stars soon as you get your gun out haha

Robbing stores is absolutely worthless once you pass level 10. I robbed a few stores just to get enough money for ammunition, but at that point you're only holding like 140 rounds.

 

It takes too much effort and way too long to lose the cops for a $1300 pay out.

almost nothing in this game makes me laugh harder than smacking a store clerk across the face with a golf club and watching everything on the counter fall down with him

I always use a pistol. Then once they're dropped the money I shoot them in a nonlethal spot (leg or shoulder) just so they can't shoot me in the back as I run out. Very effective

robbing stores is very lucrative and fun

 

if you rob every store on the map you will make anywhere from $20,000- $30,000

 

stores average anywhere from $1000 to $1800 but usually more in the $1200-1400 range.

 

masks are imperative to prevent police build up. after robbing stores consecutively you recieve 3 or 4 stars automatically.

 

always rob the second register. it has anywhere between $50-$100.

 

i use a silenced pistol for all stores but one shotgun blast opens any register.

 

binco and surburban stores have 3 registers and you can make anywhere between $150-300 with no stars (silencer)

 

the combination of shooting and yelling at the clerk raises the "holdup" meter almost instantly so mics are advised.

My store robbing routine, get a frogger or buzzard helicopter, land near the store entrance, use assault shotgun and blast the stuff on the shelves to make it go faster, keep the gun aimed at the employee as I walk backwards so he doesn't pull a gun on me. Get in the helicopter and head to the next store and repeat.

 

Doing this I have robbed every store in Los Santos consecutively. Granted I did lose my wanted level many times before robbing the next store, but near the end just pulling out my gun in the store was instantly 4 stars.

I usually just do one at a time, since my primary motivation for entering the store is either shopping or the start of a 5* police battle.

As for your final point where does being good at video games get you laid? In my experience the opposite is true lol.

You get shot by "random" peds when robbing a store if you've hit the same store multiple times without wearing a mask. The clerk recognizes you and has "backup".

 

Side note: Robbing all the stores in LS unlocks a really cool tattoo.

was using my low level character yesterday, I put three rounds into the clerks chest, i turn to leave and he gets up like the terminator and puts a round of buckshot into my back. Always shoot them bastards in the face

Actually, it was my idea, toolbag. I did a search prior to posting and there were no other relevant threads to appreciating the activity of robbing stores.

 

Now, the fact that you had to quote someone else's opinion of this thread suggests a bottom-level creative ability on your own part, so it would be nice that when you join a thread that you actually have something positive, creative, and remotely interesting to add to the discussion and not just post some inane, boring old housewife comment, like the one above.

Level 125 and I still rob stores. Hell, last night after robbing a store me and my friends had an awesome police chase. Started off when we hit up a 24/7 in Chumash then leading us on a wild chase to the top of Chiliad. There were choppers flying right beside us as we were going up the mountain and it was honestly one of the coolest moments I've experienced in the game. Once we reached the top with our 5 star wanted level we close proximity jumped off then parachuted down to the edge of the Alamoa Sea. We got in a boat and fought off the wanted level until we reached the tunnel by Vespucci Beach. 5 star wanted level cleared all for around 2k. f*cking worth it.

Glad to have been part of this. The MT. Chilliad police chase was the coolest thing ever. I'd recommend it to anybody, get a 4-5 star wanted level and drive up Mt. Chilliad, if you can drive pretty good this is a must do as its amazing to watch all the cop cars fall off the rocks and blow up all around you.

I've been doing this quite a bit lately but I always pull out my heavy sniper and scope out his brains. The whole idea of robbing a store with that weapon just cracks me up everytime... the cash register animation always gets me laughing too.

You can get about an extra 90 dollars by shooting open the second register.
