Modder appreciation thread

All this talk about the bad things these modders are doing is kind of catching like wildfire. Meanwhile all the good things they have done are being left out of the equation when people start grouping them together with the ones they think are breaking the game.

 

I would suggest a format like this;

What the modder did that was awesome:

What I would have been doing instead:

 

I'll go first. This is my very first experience with a modder.

 

What they did: made me a Sanchez with street wheels, and asked for nothing but a thank you.

 

What I would have been doing:

Grinding a mission, grinding a race, or trying to glitch it myself with save editor.

Well, as of right now, most modders just do asshole things.

When modding get's to a point like it was in GTA IV, we'll see.

Most modders are sh*t, people that use their modded consoles to their advantages. But I know several modders who are really, really friendly. They give you cars with special colors, or play with swapped characters and make the experience of GTA better. I was in a lobby a long time ago with a guy playing as a balla and driving his green police interceptor. Those modders are cool. The ones that spawn ufos or meteorites in the middle of street or make someone rape you are the scum of gta.

Well, I was in a session with modder who made cars fly, and jet killed me so he whipped out his Heavy Sniper with explosive bullets and killed him, then he continued to taze the guy until he left.

 

Does that count as good?

Modders should return the game and find something they can enjoy playing/doing without mods.

Had a pretty good experience with a modder about a month ago. My buddy and I saw this guy who was rank 1,816 and his character model was that of a really buff guy. So, we went over to say hello. Dude had a super acceleration mod or something like that on his Sentinel XS, I rode in the passenger seat with him and beat my buddy's fully modded Entity XF on a straight high way. Was fun...Until our Xbox's froze lol.

Only had good experiences with modders, most recently getting a certain vehicle i have always wanted thanks to fletch.

i had a good modder friend on gta 4 he spawned me cars and killed jerks attacking us. that was the only good modder i knew. the rest were jerks.

Never had an issue with any modders and the ones I have seen in the sessions I've been in have never griefed any undeserving players.

If you have never wall glitched, money glitched, car glitched, used sp2mp, even put pearlescent over matte paint, or any other exploit then by all means you have something to complain about. Everyone else, the only difference between a modder and you, is the amount of exploits there are. This is not a I'm on a high horse talk sh*t about modders thread. Peace the f*ck out if that's what you want to do.
