Does anyone race the correct way?

Thats why i dont race in gta, everyone is crashing to eachother, and yes the only way would be to find a crew that does.

Yes, actual racers are a rare breed in public races. A crew or friends is the way to go.

I make my own lobbies so that i can turn catchup off and race how I please. But if you do find/create a crew like that id love to join.

I race semi-clean.

 

If someone is trying to ram me / knock me out, my goal is to knock them out first provided I can't sail past. I won a race last night because the guys in 1st and 2nd were too busy hitting each other to notice me come up the inside.

 

If you really want clean racing, just host races with "Non-Contact" - it's not a favorite choice, but does let you eliminate the rammers when doing public sessions.

It's amazing that almost everyone who posted on this thread is a clean racer who never loses!

 

Personally, I just race when i feel like it. If I get pitted, so be it. It's GTA.

If you want to do clean racing you should join nonchalant dominance.The main crew is full Atm but you can join the secondary crew.

Join a 'private' crew (ones which arent like IGN and Gamespot with a bajillion members) and race with them. 90% of the time, I race with my crew and we do it properly
