Rooftop Rumble changed again

I've played rooftop rumble several times today and noticed that as well as the car that comes when you kill the first few enemies after you've killed everyone and the two cars start coming towards you a fib ranger spawns filled with more men that chase after you when going after the case if you don't destroy them straight away.

yeah they got me yesterday....we had cleared the garage and i was sitting in my car waiting for the briefcase guy to spawn and they just pulled up in front and shot me before i could react

 

and i got the "out of lives" screen....man i hate that....you gotta sit there feeling like a noob while somebody finishes the mission

 

not to mention when you got back to freeroam you spawn in the middle of nowhere which is like extra punishment for dying

had it too, black gagner suddenly came last sunday. but afther we killed all the guys without going to the front, then we went to the front, then it said retired mafia reached the parking lot, and a ocelot and gagner came.

That has happened on 'normal' ever since the difficulty bump.

Yeah, extra granger shows up from time to time. I find it usually happens when you use the bridge method and kill all the professionals before you trigger the yellow marker. Doesn't happen to me often though, but it's not a change it was always there.

 

As far as the mission being changed:

Happes sometimes for me, a Granger pulls up with 2 enemies in it. Not a big deal though.

The fact is You are addicted to this roofs**** i think i played this job 5 times since the game is out. I suggest You to find your skill in other Jobs like deathmatches or racing. Dont come with "Brings Most money in short time" ... Gta is so Big and You still stick in the roof wondering Why another car Shows up which didnt the last time? Lol, please...

I've been seeing the guys that pull up by the garage get back in the car and start chasing lately. They don't usually catch up to you though unless you're driving something hella slow. Yesterday another player got the document and I stayed behind and the npc got in a car and started going after the guy with the document. I think once the guy with the document got so far away, the npc gives up and goes to the closest player cause a minute later he came driving back up to me and I pistoled him from the car

Either shoot them or get away from the parking garage. Once you kill everyone in the parking garage, you're done with that part of it anyway, and you should be getting in cars waiting for the dude to spawn with the documents.

 

I've had dudes in a car follow me before while chasing the documents, but it never lasts long. I'm taking a break from this one - I hate trying to chase the guy down in a car, but having to be kinda light about how you kill him for fear of blowing the car up. Adds way too much potential for trouble when doing the mission with randoms. I'd almost rather let him get where he's going, then take out the four or so guys there and grab the documents.

he stopped where the Defender Mission starts, & had backup waiting.

If you're alone, Granger guy will always show up. Sometimes it also shows up even when you got other players.

I've noticed a car chasing as well. However today it was just one guy in a convertible (probably sentinel guy on his day job I think).

 

Never noticed before but I rarely play this mission now so not really any the wiser.

If you want RP, Crystal Clear Out III, Jet Stream, and Downtown Underground are where it's at (finish the two races after four minutes).

 

If you need cash, Potshot is where it's at.

Why do people still play this sh*tty mission? I bet if this mission's payout was reduced people will stay play it. Rooftop Rumble is the ass and the people who constantly play it are the hemorrhoids. Method in the madness is way better and can be finished in the same time as RR.

They were definitely more aggressive when I played today. After everyone was cleared and the document had been collected, yet another car full of FIBs CRAMMED into my car as I sat waiting for the other player to deliver the documents. It definitely made things more interesting and earned me a few more kills.

Noticed one thing,attacking from the rear is easier,also when second car appears,if you use heavy machine gun,you fail because document gets destroyed....

i blow the cars up w rpg or launcher and take the document car driver w heavy pistol works like a dream.

i use my grenade launcher to take out the cars and my ap pistol to kill the document driver.

it happens from time to time, one time a car chased me to Madrazo front door, they basically gave him the documents for me. But this happens on a lot of scripted missions not just RR, and its nothing new or to be concerned with. Everybody loves to freak out when just ONE MORE guy pops up out of nowhere during Rooftop Rumble.

 

Simple solution, play something besides Rooftop Rumble and enjoy some real missions for a change.
