I really wish they would open the 3rd character slot now that my 2nd character is past 120 it seems like I get kicked just as much as my other character. I loved being a low level and having people think I was an easy kill or that I would be easy to beat in races and totally destroying them.

I've never had a problem with my level.

Well, actually, some guy called me a hacker because I'm level 147, and that is legit. so I told him cool and he stopped.

Ill never understand why people hate high levels. Just because you're at a ridiculous level doesn't mean you're that good. I was grinding to get to 120 so every thing would be unlocked but after that I stopped. No point right now being over 120

I'm over 120 and still grind missions just for fun.

I also approach missions in different ways to keep them interesting. Make an adventure out of some. LOL

I'm a legit player, I just happened to rank to level 400+ way early in GTAO back when my friends discovered the Criminal Records RP glitch in 2013. (Anyone remember that glitch? It gave you the max RP EVERY RACE in less than 2 minutes).

First off all Dont disrespect others for beeing On a low Level!...

No disrespect intended. Rank just shows time spent on the game; it's no indicator of skill or character. I've gotten my ass handed to me by LVL 50's and and decimated entire crews of LVL 150+'s. For the most part, rank is just a number that shows how much time you've invested or how much RP you hacked and got away with. Nothing more.

The thing I hate about high levels, I mean really high levels ie. 300+ is that they have really high health. They can take a bullet from a heavy sniper and live on, unless its a head shot of course. Its very annoying as you don't know weather to go for head shots or not as you immediately don't know there rank. Just my 2 cents about high levels.

i hit level 400 yesterday, i may have gotten a friend request or 2 in the past because of it, when i have done random jobs i have been kicked or guys trying to run me over, but R* couldn't pay me to be in a public lobby any longer than it would take me to leave.

I've got a level 200 and a level 122,do get kicked from missions for no reason,I think this should be a Bad Sport offence,as people don't know me ,so why kick? I actually like helping lower levels with the more difficult missions it's rewarding ,and enjoy the simple missions as long as they are played on hard......

the health of a rank 300 player is no different than the health of a rank 100 player. High rank adds nothing but experiance.

The problem with GTA Online community is to call everything as "Glitch" while some of them isn't even a glitch, just a design instead. And then Rockstar see it and fix it, then people got f*cked up.Well at least I'm not a modder. Otherwise, My rank would've been reset a long time ago.

 

But anyway, all those RP bugs back in the 1.03 - 1.06 days are patched up anyway. It's not as easy to rank as fast now.

I've also been kicked for no reason at all a couple times after a mission started, I'm a legit level 200+. Back in the days of playing SAMP it was obvious who was a hacker/cheater or not(s0beit and other kinds of mods or hacks), now a damn level determines that. Level above 100+ = hacks, nowaday GTA MP logic.

Legit 150s and even I get the kicks from jobs, notification of removal from session etc. as far as I'm concerned, if players stay away bcuz of my level in free roam, good. I like to be left alone w/o being bothered by sticky bombs.

 

Speaking of intimidating levels, this seems to apply to other games. While I have no right to talk about this game series in here, for the sake of an example I'll speak anyways. In COD BO2, players seem to back out of a lobby soley because a Prestige Master is in the lobby. This is why many players make new accounts on Playstation. In BF4 my friends wanted to leave cuz there was a lvl 130.

 

As for ppl expecting you to carry them in missions, do this. If they start AFKing it, AFK it too. They'll either leave or be forced to do it on their own. Only then should you start helping them if you wanna

 

Kids that want money, and I redirect them to the quick job option. Kids that are annoying get a face full of buckshot. Anyone too lazy to rank up/get money get an extended magazine of buckshot from the auto-shotty. Is it that hard for them to AFK an RR?

I started a new guy a couple months ago when my main reached 250 and wanted to be noob again. You make a valid point I got booted alot from missions and then I would have to do all the work..

 

Level 70 ish now on the second guy. Best part was the high levels coming for me thinking I was a real noob.

I can't go to open sessions anymore. Partially due to my own fear that the automated system will just stick me in CP because people see my rank and immediately assume it's a hack (turned 911 last night). I don't even have to leave my apartment, someone will vote to kick me. During my hunt for the mighty beer hat I was getting muggers put on me while doing gang attacks.

 

I can't go into open sessions and experience what it is like to be the griefer. If someone kills me, I kill them back once and leave, because if I let loose on them they will report me. I would love to be the arsehole just once that gets to spawn kill or tank other players.

 

Luckily, I have a lot of friends that play deathmatch because otherwise I wouldn't be able to play deathmatch at all;and they stick up for me when some jackarse in the lobby starts calling me a hacker.

 

People always want to challenge me because they think a higher rank gives you super powers. The game only gives us more health, we can take more damage, but it does not give us amazing headshot kills, that's something we have to get good with.

 

Someone else brought this up, but it can not be emphasized enough: People think that high ranks are invincible in missions. Hell, If I invite a low rank to Rooftop Rumble, the Professionals manage to shoot me through a wall. Once they shot me dead as soon as the mission started.

 

The good news is: I have a second character and although I don't like playing as him, at least I'll be able to join randoms again.

As a rank 251, I have been kicked a few times a few months ago when i was in the late 100s, but now I don't get kicked. This is probably because like me, I imagine many other people freeze if they click view joined players info in a lobby.

But now I can't get into a lobby without being disconnected by an 'unknown network error'.

My favourite is when some jackass/jackass and jackass friends decide oh look, lets go screw with the highest level in the game whose minding his own business drifting in the hills, lets go show him whose boss! Then end up whining cos they can't keep up...

Yeah when you are a higher rank, everyone calls you hacker or modder and its pretty funny, im rank 839 and its annoying when they kick me from the job, just cause then think that im a hacker XD, even if im in a survival, they think im hacker cause they see how sometimes i can take life and armors from the nowhere, but of course its cause i use a lot my inventory , you know food or armors , cause we can carry 10.

But in the other hand its embarrassing when i fail a mission for a stupid move when everyone else died XD
