Modded Money lobbies Ban Wave.

Right now, I'm avoiding public lobbies like the plague. I have a feeling that innocent players who unintentionally get modded money won't be let off the hook this time around.

I haven't been on GTA online for a while due to IRL trouble, and I feel as if its for the better with the bannings.

Anyone know if there going after the glitchers as well. getting the turds who are money hacking is good and all but if you don't also go after the tards dropping the meteors space ships ramps boxing people off and what not what is the point. its just half assing trying to fix the problem

I was thinking the same thing, however in the past day I have had 2 or 3 friends banned until the 28th August or beyond from GTAO only.

 

Now I'm not saying that's the reason, because none of us really know until they put a ticket in, & to be honest I don't think they were given modded money, I think they were reported for using God mode or something.

 

Either way I am not worried, the only thing I have done is the money glitch & they never wiped my money back in January because it was glitched from LSC, not modded.

Is the reason for them banning people until the 28th of august (at least) because r* are planning an update sometime before the 28th to stop these moddders and glitchers, hypothetically I mean...

Incidentally, if you look at his twitter feed he's been doing streams and meetups with people so he's clearly not banned, or if he is then it's not a console ban, or he has a modded console (or another console).
