I recommend everyone quarantine themselves to Invite Only sessions and Closed Sessions to limit infection spread. Also be sure that Invited friends/crew are clean too. Until R* releases a patch, best we limit spread

it's safer to go to sp and then go back to mp than just find new session. i had my independence day content gone from ammunation 3 weeks ago, switching sessions didn't help, but going offline and online did.

I'm PS3. I'm clearing my cache and reinstalling patch 1.15. Swapping sessions didn't help.

You only need to quit to single player and go back online, then it's gone.

Why are people making such a big deal of this? Just set your spawn location to apartment and when you start up online just walk out of your apartment into the garage and walk around the car crusher.

A few reasons why it's a big deal 1) we shouldn't have to change our spawn location to avoid something R* can fix 2) in many garages when you walk back in you will be trapped in the crusher and unable to get to any of your cars--have to kill yourself to get out or change sessions 3) some of us actually like to hang out in our garages or use it as a meeting spolt 4) clearing cache and then downloading a 450MB update is a pain in the @ss

 

I do understand what you're saying in that we can avoid or minimize the situation by spawning in our apartment, walking outside and then having the mechanic bring us our cars. Still, we shouldn't be forced to do this. Oh well. R* obviously has no plans to do anything about this until the next update--whenever that is

had one of those in my lobby the other night. I killed him like 20 times, then he spams invites to his apartment. I tell him im not coming. I know he is trying to put one of those things in my garage. then he takes control of my character. (I start walking into a wall) I go on the mic and make fun of him.

 

oh look, this four year old has a youtube account. can you do anything else or is this the limit of your script kiddie skills? do you need a few minutes to look up youtube? I already regained control of my character and have all my guns back.

 

the kid left the session squeaking im not a script kiddie! im 18 years old you stinky poo-head! rockstar needs to ban their playstations from being able to play online. don't think they would be able to youtube their way out of that. then explain to their parents how their kids are brats and a video console is not a babysitter or a substitute for friends. (when they go to complain on the website)

had this several times now over the last couple of days, its a royal pain in the ass. its further delaying future DLC releases because scripters and technicians have to spend their merry time fixing and patching this BS up all the time! My friend works for ubisoft, and i was asking him today how long something like this could take to fix, i was not happy with his reply, he said it could more than likely take several days to find, fix and plug the error code in which these modders are using to create loops in the system like this, and no guarantee it not happening again.

So for those people slagging off R* for not giving us content on a monthly basis, there's only these c****s to blame for wasting their time in trying to resolve these hacks, mods and exploits.

I don't see why It wouldn't be on Xbox also. I would guess maybe there is a less amount because of Xbox Live and having to pay to be able to play online so the numbers would probably be lower, as opposed, to PS3 and It's free use of online. There is a R* sticky post on the Support site that states how to possibly get rid of items spawned in garages and the post mentions both PS3 and Xbox users so It's on both consoles most likely.

I've seen it in my garage as well. To avoid any possible bugs because of it I set my spawn to random so i'm outside and can freely summon any of my vehicles. I suggest just staying out of your garages.

Switching to a new session or switching to a different character helped me out.

 

Getting the mechanic to help you send out a car to you is not always a

quarantee. Sometimes the mechanic does not help you at all.

 

Also, driving into your garage can be a problem. Once I had to park my car outside and enter the apartment (instead of the garage) before I logged off.
