Is this an issue only on the PS3?

I'm PS3. I'm clearing my cache and reinstalling patch 1.15. Swapping sessions didn't help.

I'm guessing it's like the UFO thing spawning in most of the servers. But instead some modder has placed an object inside your garage.

More than likely the modder placed the object in a popular apt like eclipse towers or something if switching sessions didnt help and other people were experiencing the same thing.

I'm not one of these people who throw a wobbly at these things,I think it's hilarious what the hackers are doing,it's just a bit of fun,as RR aren't

doing much to keep things interesting,then these guys are spicing it up,no one died,it's just funny....

Still not a reason too block our garages. Ok we can still find a new session and avoid the garage. We can call the mechanic to deliver the cars we want. But then again... I was an hour later exported to the beach with a bunch of other players. It was no big deal... kinda funny. They were just messing around and do what's recently en vogue in GTA Online.

Just ran into this myself, I entered my garage, and it wasnt there, walk away from the TV for about a min, came back, and there it was, but I was able to get on my Bati and ride out.

I don't get why some people want to experience this. My garage is sacred to me. I'm dreading getting home from work and trying to get rid of the stupid thing.

I just spawned in my garage but I was inside the compactor and unfortunately stuck. Kept switching lobbies same deal. Changed spawn location and froze.

at this point im starting to think that a single modder can cripple online with a few things placed evilly, especially if they stick when someone switches sessions, and then it infects everyone in the next

i am a modder and i f*cking HATE this mod. it's vile and i think it will ruin the game, i'm all for modding things for your own enjoyment but mods that effect the whole lobby are ridiculous. this is as bad as the dns lobbies.

 

people shouldn't have to restart their consoles & delete sh*t because somebody feels like being a dick

Exactly! Whats worse is the assholes who are here replying they think its funny or cool to see, and this what the modders and hackers live for, entertaining these idiots. But I guaranteed if these hackers started to steal people money or weapons they be the first to cry "why Rockstar, Why?

If any of you have already encountered this and still can't get rid of the objects or will encounter them in the future, you can check out the R* Support link below to a possible solution to get them to despawn and have your game to normal again. However, If you were to encounter them a second time, I would guess that you would have to repeat the steps over again to get rid of them. It's a R* sticky post so the method must work, I would assume.

What BS. 1st UFOs and now this! R* should ban these ungrateful pricks. Happened to me today. I killed myself and respawn end on the other side of the map too. When's the next patch coming again?

 

Oh right. In R* eyes, its a glitch. Nothing important really. It's just about the Shark Cards.

Gotta love the response... spend twenty minutes to a half hour deleting and installing... join another session only to have it pop back up again. Way to go.

Bro, coding is coding. When the PS4 version is out, hackers will be busy figuring out how to either crack the new code, or upgrade the PS3 mod menus. You'll have probably a month to two months of clean gaming at most.

 

I recommend everyone quarantine themselves to Invite Only sessions and Closed Sessions to limit infection spread. Also be sure that Invited friends/crew are clean too. Until R* releases a patch, best we limit spread
