This is the crap that will keep me playing in invite only sessions

 

Until this crap is fixed i will stay in invite only (that and the hookers turning my gold elegy turned adder cash cow)

i've had it happen aswell, just teleport by quick job.

 

although i admit i've may helped spread this, i started session hopping and each new session i joined i heard reactions on the mic from stuff popping up.

I always spawn in my garage and today whenever I joined a session I was trapped inside some of the games industrial textures inside my garage, I was able to move around inside the textures, but was unable to get to a car. I tried switching session, leaving online and returning, and restarting the PS3 system but the problem was/is still there.

 

I now spawn inside my apartment but when I go down to the garage I have to walk around what looks like a large piece of industrial equipment which is attached to the roof and garage doors (filling half of the garage) to get to my cars. I've tried leaving the garage and returning but it's still there!

 

I've tried googling this problem but see no information on it whatsoever, at present it is now impossible for me to spawn inside my garage..

 

Any help or advice? Can any of our more experienced playing members tell me if this is likely a glitch or a hack? I really don't know what to do about it, and the problem doesn't seem to be going away.

This happened to me earlier. I couldn't move! -_- and the other day I had some random guy just appear and I beat the sh*t out of him until he disappeared LOL! Weird glitches keep happening daily now :@

I had this happen to me and just like everyone else, I panicked and tried everything (aka. get mad at rockstar)

Turns out there is a simple fix.

 

Switch to your second character, and then switch back.

 

This worked twice for me. Hope it helps!

That's great. I still haven't seen anything like that when I've been online. No UFO's or Ferris Wheels or whatever else they have did .

To be honest this kind of stuff hardly affects my experience. If anything, it brings some excitement to GTA while Rockstar is failing to do so. Still, anybody who does this should be banned. It's funny to see how broken this game is, but I would still prefer it to be bug free.

this wont go away unless rockstar shuts down the servers long enough for everyone to shut off their systems/clear cash

unless of course, they manage to correctly fix this once and for all in the next patch

Exit to the XMB reboot the game and it will be gone, it affects everyones garage, since the vehicle storage is located in Legion Square. So whoever it was attached to in that session, it will attach to anyone else in that session, and keep spreading if you change sessions. Only way to get rid of it is to reboot the game.

While I do find this kind of funny and I actually don't have a problem with modders, the fact that you have to basically quit your game, delete cache, redownload and then restart makes this a jackazz thing to do. It's one thing if it disappeared from your garage after you walked out and then went back in, but this damm thing just spreads like a virus unless you delete your cache.

 

Now if I could actually drive it out of my garage I might change my tune.

I've been starting in invite only sessions then switching to public. It seems to avoid it, but if I run into it, the only thing that gets rid of it is rebooting the game. Then you hope when you enter back online, you don't land into an infected server. I rebooted my game 7 times earlier, everytime I kept landing into an infected server.
